The Stars Above (Seek x Figure) [HUMAN AU]

~Chapter 1~

"Okay jeez i'll ask Figure to the stupid dance...Will you leave me alone now Screech" Seek sighed and groaned while facing the roof from Screech's bed "fine" Screech said with an odd smirk as he walked to the door and pulled Figure into the room "Well here he is!"

The previous week Screech had mentioned to Seek that there was a school dance going on at the end of the month and they kept insisting on him asking Figure to the dance, Seek wasn't even interested in going until he had heard that Figure was going... He was apparently going with Timothy, Of course Figure would go to the dance with his friend! Or at least that's what Seek thought until he over heard Timothy tell Screech that he was going to be out of town and wouldn't be attending the dance at all.. Was I... jealous... before?

"Figure?! Screech are you serious?" Seek could not believe that he had brought Figure over to his house just for Seek to ask him to the dance! It was so stupid on why Seek was so nervous... He knew Figure would say no, he was going to reject him and tell the whole school that he's a stupid 'fag' that loved Figure who was obviously not interested in him.

"Shush and ask!" Screech pushed Figure in front of the bed that Seek had previously stood up from in a blur.. He was shaking and almost sweating, All because he was afraid of rejection? Afraid that Figure would leave him once figuring out (so funny haha) Seek was gay? Or is it because he didn't want Screech to see him get rejected like the pathetic kid hat he is? Either way he was against the end of the bed and took a deep breath to attempt to semi calm him before he started to speak.

"So uh Figure.. Are you going to the dance?" Seek stuttered through the sentence slightly and his face was red, He was looking down at the ground to ignore Figure's gaze because he knew that Figure would judge him for asking him to the dance.

"Yes I am indeed going to the dance, Why do you ask, Seek?" Figure smirked widely. He knew that Seek was going to ask him, Screech has been bugging Figure about it for weeks.. He kept telling Figure that "Seek is totally gonna ask you" and they were correct but Figure had thought he was joking up until this point when he was standing in front of a shaky and sweaty Seek who was staring at the ground.

Seek took another deep breath and looked at Figure who wasn't looking at him in disgust like he had thought Figure would. Actually, Figure was smiling.. Did he like Seek? He couldn't possibly.. He doesn't like guys right?

"Would you maybe wanna go with me?" Seek panicked internally while waiting for Figure's answer, it felt like hours for Seek but in realty it was less than a minute.

Figure smiled softly.

"Seek, of course ill go with you!" Figure moved to hug Seek before Screech interrupted the two of the boys..

"Alright love birds you two need to go to like Seek's house or something because I have homework to do.." Screech pushed the two to the door while sticking his tongue out teasingly.

Both Seek and Figure waved bye to Screech before Seek dragged Figure towards the front door.. The two of them put their shoes on while Seek put on his classic black jacket and notice Figure look over and chuckle.

"What's so funny Figure?" Seek asked while leaning on the door, He never understood how Figure could make him shake and cower in fear but then he could also be so sly and flirty with Figure like it was no big deal.

"You still have that boring old black jacket?" Figure asked not knowing the 'argument' this would cause.

"Mhm it still fits so I still wear it" Seek chuckled slightly.

"Didn't you get called Michael Jackson by a little kid while you were wearing it?"

"Figure that was Rush who said that, you know he always liked to joke around. " Seek stared blankly at Figure before they both snickered again
