According to industry reports on November 5th, Himchan will be tried for his sexual assault accusations on December 14th in Seoul Western District Court. Himchan was prosecuted without detention back on October 25th for molesting two women in a bar in Hannam-dong on April 17th. One of the women was of foreign nationality while the other was Korean.
Previously, Himchan was embroiled in a controversy after being tried for sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s back in July 2018. He was sentenced to 10 months of imprisonment and 40 hours of sex offender treatment program in the trial court, which he appealed in February 2021.
He then admitted his accusations in his second appeal hearing held on April 12th. But Himchan is once again facing trials after being accused of molesting two women on April 17th.
