Giselle Thompson sat in front of the mirror, next to Vice President Chloe Manning & the communicator (aka the person running the official DOPE social media accounts) Natasha Helmsley.
Giselle was applying a bright pink liquid lipstick, and grinning at her reflection. She was ruling the sorority that her older sister had ruled only 10 years prior, and she was grateful to have some sense of control in her life. She was your stereotypical bitchy sorority president, with beach blonde hair and perky tits that all the guys (and girls) stared at.
Her best friend Chloe Manning obviously got the Vice President spot. Giselle didn't want to run the sorority with anyone but her best friend. Their dads had been business partners, so they had spent a lot of time together as kids. Now, at 21 years old, they felt like they were at the top of the world.
Natasha Helmsley was a well renowned photographer around campus, and everyone called her Nattie, because she felt that Natasha was too pretentious of a name for someone as simple as her. Her auburn eyes gleamed anytime she went on her socials, mainly Instagram. She had over 10,000 posts of herself on her social media profiles, and she got off on the exhilaration she got from it. Validation from thousands of strangers was the only thing that made her feel alive inside.
Giselle, Chloe & Nattie were getting ready to start the next part of hazing, and Giselle wanted to be ready. She wanted to be a bitch, and what better excuse to be one than a bunch of slutty pledges desperate for her love and praise?
"Can I take a picture of you guys?" Nattie asked, clearly eager to show off the eye candy that Giselle & Chloe presented. Giselle looked at Nattie annoyed and said, "Sure. Whatever makes you not want to slit your wrists."
Nattie looked hurt and quickly pulled her sleeve down to hide her scars. She then snapped a pic and posted it on her Instagram. Giselle & Chloe shared a look and grinned. They both secretly hated Nattie, but who better to run the sorority's social media then an avid social media addict?
The first round of hazing had been brutal. The sisters had to drink rotten milk. The ones who did got in, and the ones who refused were instantly out of the sorority. Only the best of the best (or those that Giselle thought fit of torment) made it in. There were a total of 14 girls left in hazing, and she planned to make it a living nightmare. She grinned at herself once more before leaving the room abruptly. Chloe followed."Put your back into it!" Chloe bellowed at a girl named Mable Tetson. She was crying, while vigorously scrubbing the white floor. Giselle & Chloe grinned at one another, while Drea Nicholson was nowhere to be found. Drea was the risk manager, who's main job description was to make sure that the girls weren't in any danger or risk of safety, and she was nominated because she wanted to have a job description without any of the work.
Angie McGee sat back and laughed at the misery of the girls. She was the one who recruited each girl, and at the end of the day it was her & Giselle's choice on who made it and who didn't. Mable was looking like a bad choice to continue. But, Giselle & Chloe seemed to be enjoying her misery, and so Angie sat back and watched, mentally checking off her name.
Alongside Angie sat our twins that we met earlier, Dina & Tina Wells, who were giddy at not having to complete the rest of their hazing. Delilah, Polly & Cora were also exempt from having to haze in this round, since they did their job at making sure the twins did theirs.
After an hour, Giselle called the hazing round to a quick close. She looked at Angie, and the two girls went into another room alongside Chloe & Nattie to discuss who would make the cut and who wouldn't this round.
After what felt like an eternity, Giselle, Chloe, Nattie & Angie came back into the room, fake bitchy smiles plastered across their faces.
Giselle looked at Mable and told her to get out. She did so, crying as she did so. She pointed at a couple more people and told them to get out as well until there were only 4 more girls left on the floor. Giselle smiled and said, "Congratulations babies, you are all officially a part of the DOPE sorority!"
The girls jumped for joy, and so did Delilah, Cora, Polly & the twins. They had all made it, and they were thankful that they had, even though they were admittedly surprised hazing was over after 2 rounds. In their ecstatic state, they disregarded the doubt and celebrated.
Even though she was excited to belong somewhere, Delilah had a bad feeling about Giselle. It was like she had no soul and derived her entire personality off of being Regina George. Even so, Delilah didn't want to back out, considering she had begged Polly to join. Polly was her best friend, and had been since the second grade when Delilah found a roly poly and gave it to Polly, before saying it was a "roly poly for a roly Polly." The joke and pun was stupid of course, because eight year olds don't have the capability to be funny.
Delilah snapped out of her thoughts when Giselle cleared her throat and said, "remember girls, we're sisters til death." She smiled as she said it, and grabbed Chloe & Angie's hands. They rose them in unison, and everyone cheered. Delilah cheered, but she felt the exact opposite on the inside.
