You watched as the sun's rays danced across the bottom of the lake, creating a beautiful picture as it mixed with the ever-moving waves. The fish you'd grown so familiar with during your time in Luhua pool swam around nearby, occasionally stopping to snuggle up to what would have been your shoulder, if your physical form was a little more detailed, to say hi.

You smiled, having always loved the feeling of being underwater. It was like entering a whole different world, one most people didn't even think twice about. It was all that kept you sane in your afterlife.

You might not know who you were or why you still roamed Teyvat, but when you were under there it never seemed to matter. The waves and the fish accepted you regardless.

You looked up, frowning at the sight of the surface. Despite how long you'd wished to have a body again, now that it had happened, you weren't sure what to do. So far, nothing had changed. You continued to live in the lake next to the crystal-clear pools. The only real difference was that it was harder for you to dance.

Not only were your watery appendages heavier than expected, but your current form didn't have a lot of mobility, or even any arms or legs. Still, you refused to give up on having a body again. You'd just need to refine the form you'd take. Then it would not only be more human looking, but also easier for you to move and control.

The only issue was that you weren't sure how to take a more human shaped form. You'd only seen a few humans since becoming a spirit, as you tried to avoid them for fear of causing yourself any trouble.

If you were going to look like one of them, you'd need a reference, or at least some kind of inspiration first.

'I guess I'm not going of find a human reference down here...' You thought to yourself finally as a small Golden Koi fish swam up to you. You tried to pet its head, to the best of your abilities, but since you didn't have hands, it didn't work very well.

Sighing, you brought yourself to the surface, letting your watery head pop out of the waves as you looked around. It seemed to be about the middle of the day now, and a cool breeze brushed against your face, or what would have been your face.

To any onlookers, you would have appeared as an awkward bulge on the water's surface with a ghostly mouth and eyes; not a very welcome sight for most people. Luckily, you'd managed to avoid having any humans see you so far.

"Agh!" A scream from somewhere behind you made you whip your head(?) around. It looked like you'd spoken too soon, because two humans were standing at the shore, their feet just touching the lapping waves with expressions of horror on their faces.

Both were men with brown hair and green eyes, maybe brothers? Regardless, it seemed you'd given them quite a scare, because all the color had drained from their faces as they froze in fear.

Without thinking, you moved a little closer, opening your mouth to speak. They both stepped back quickly.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you-" You started, only to be interrupted by their terrified cries.

"G-g-ghost!" The man on the left shouted before dropping the bag he'd been carrying and darting in the opposite direction. The man on the right finally regained some composure before turning and running after him.

"Wait! Don't leave me alone with it!" And with that they had both disappeared from your sights. You frowned again.

"I guess I should have seen that coming," you told the Golden Koi that had followed you up to the surface, "I was just hoping to find some references, I didn't think about how scary I might look."

You glanced back to where they'd once stood on the shore, noticing the bag they'd left behind. It was open, and something was sticking out. Curious, you moved closer to the shore to get a better look at the object.
