Once upon a time, in a planet far away from earth, lived an old population called the Shiloi.

Shiloi were very physically similar to humans, but in reality, their mind and their way of thinking were really different, as Shiloi could not feel hatred, nor pain. Those feelings were totally unknown to them.

They were also very intelligent beings, and they for sure knew how the universe works, and were conscious of many things us humans folks don't know.

The planet they lived in was called Neyla, a cute name, isn't it? Neyla was a planet way bigger than earth, maybe four times it's size. It was created few hundreds of years before the earth, and was well more advanced. Shiloi have found a way to do all the things humans can do nowadays, but without using such thing as electricity. They knew, they did research, they worked, just like us, but they somehow came to better conclusions than ours. That was what made them special.

Now that the introduction is finished, let's get deeper into the story.

One of our protagonists is a young girl named Chei. As you have probably already guessed, she was a normal Shiloi, with a normal classic life, living every single moment at it's fullest. She enjoyed life very much, and was proud of being part of such an advanced population.

Though Chei might be the "happy" type of girl, she still had some dark sides inside of her. She would always help people and act nice with them, but if someone ever dared to hurt her or the people she cared about, she wouldn't even hesitate to rip their fingers off.

She already did it one time. Some other girl picked up on her and ended up handless. That brought Chei in big problems, as the girl she attacked was from a prestigious family. But Chei didn't care who you were or where you came from. If you did something good, you were a good person. If you did something bad, you were a bad person.

That's how it worked out there.
That's what she thought her whole life, until she met someone... who definitely changed her mind.

That particular someone is a mere human, a lonely poor child, called Melody.
She was a girl, who hated life, hated humans, hated earth, and hated everything. She was never loved, and didn't know how to love people. Even though she was 17 years old, she never dared speak to anyone else than her only friend, which was literally her pencil. Yes, she might've been the loneliness girl you've ever seen. She was tired of everything, of life, people, work, school, home. Everything angered her, but she still kept on living, even though she didn't have any hope left.

One day, during a rainy night of November, she decided to wander around a grand city known as Paris. It was during the weekend, and she didn't have anything else to do but to go to the Eiffel tower. As she walked in, her deepest emotions started to rise once again. "Gosh, what a beautiful place..." she thought as she visited the magnificent tower.

She eventually arrived at the top. Even though she hated to admit it, it was still a fact that the view was beautiful. The wind in her hair, lost in thoughts, she was for the first time enjoying this very moment.
Then, something came to her mind. What if...she jumped ?

Dark thoughts started to flow over her mind as she stared at the streets of Paris. "That's high..."
She slowly closed her eyes and immediately changed her mind. No. She can't do this. Not now.

She turned her back and was about to go back home, until she heard a voice. A pretty deep voice, coming from the sky, telling her it was her time.
Without a second thought, she turned away again to face the living city she was in. Wind blowing once again her hair, she put her hands on the barrier, before finally lifting her feet.

"It's not like anyone would care after all." she said, before leaving earth, before leaving her home.

And that is how, her new life started.
