Chapter 2

George's pov

I got home and started second-guessing about the party maybe I shouldn't go, I don't really know anyone at my work office what the hell would I even do there, well, maybe I could
Know people in my work office by going.

I thought for a few more minutes, until I finally decided I was gonna go. I scrolled through Twitter for a few minutes

I decided I was going to fix my hair a little bit and put on a blazer, To look a little bit nicer. I put some foundation under my eyes to hide my eyebags from not sleeping. And fixed my tie little bit. And I was done.

I took a deep breath and grab my car, keys and drive to the location of the party.

I parked my car on the side of the road and got out the car. There was a huge queue forming outside. I took a deep breath and got onto the queue I looked up from my phone and there was a dirty blonde tall male in front of me "God this queue is long" I said not really to anyone just kind of out loud.

"yeah, it really is." Someone said after a few seconds, I realized it was a man in front of me That voice seemed really familiar? " I mean I just came here for a business party thing" he said " really same here" he backed up a little bit, so we were right next to each other shoulder to shoulder "you work for the Orlando computer science company?" he said quietly. "Yeah"

"Nice same here, im Clay"
"George" I said taking my hands out my blazer pockets for handshake he takes it and shakes it
We started talking and talking and talking. It was like we knew each other for years. Until he said. " OK, but hopefully met before?" I don't know what to say. 𝚂𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚒 𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚞𝚙 𝚒 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗 𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚋𝚞𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚒𝚖..? 𝙵∙𝚌𝚔 𝚒𝚝
"Oh well we talked for like 2 seconds, that bumped into you today."

"REALLY That with you I couldn't even tell
We kept talking until we got to the front of the line and got inside finally, we walked in and there was music blaring "HOLY CRAP, ITS SO LOUD" I screamed "I KNOW, DO YOU WANT TO GO SOME WERE QUIETER?" "SURE"
All of a sudden he took my hand into his and began speedwalking, I had no idea what was happening, but I started to blush for some reason, I was very confused why I was blushing??

As soon as I knew it we were in a bar room. The room is very quiet, quieter than the main room. There was a few mumbling of people talking. " much better, right Georgie?" 𝙶𝚎𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚒𝚎?? 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎??
"So do you wanna get a drink?" "Uhm sure" I said. We walked over to the bar and ordered a drink " what can I get you guys?" The man said
"I'll just take a coke, What about you, Georgie?" I still got butterflies in my stomach when he say Georgie.

"I'll just take a water" I said " all right so that will be $3.42 I begin taking out my wallet until Clay said "No, don't worry about it, I'll pay"
" are you sure?"  "of course" he smiled while Handing the bartender currency.

We got our drinks and began talking and laughing.

10:21pm

It was getting quite late, and both me and Clay had work in the morning, so we begin wrapping up the conversation, "So George can I get your number?"  "Of course" I smiled he handed me his phone and I typed in my number in "here" I looked over and saw him change the contact name to •Georgie 💙• I smiled

"All right, we both better be getting home George"  "Yeah we best" we both walked out of the club. And said our goodbyes.

Instead of just waving goodbye, I wanted in for a hug and... Clay took it " All  right, see you tomorrow at work Clay"  "Bye Georgie :)"

I got into the car and started driving home. All I can think about was Clay his joyful laugh, and his emerald green eyes.

I got home, and immediately got into comfortable sweatpants and a sweatshirt but before I got into bed my phone went off

                                                        Miss you too <3

I went to his contact and I changed his name to •Clay 💚•

I put my phone back on my nightstand and close my eyes and drifted off.

OK I definitely need to go to bed
But this really is so much fun.
