Sloane
I was in my room reading a book in bed and my parents were in the kitchen arguing about money like usual. I don't pay much attention until my dad brought up my name.
"We can just sell Sloane she's young and beautiful someone would pay at lot for her you know!" he yelled
"What are you crazy?" My mom yelled back
"No! Your crazy if you think I'm going to be out on the streets begging for money!" He yelled back
"We can't just sell our daughter like that! How about you look for a job!!" She yelled back
"I've tried they don't want me! I'm going to sell her I don't care what you say nothing is going to stop me! She's to expensive to take care of!"
He said in response and he left the house.
I sat in suspense. Not knowing what to do run away maybe? Where would I go I don't know anybody
That's when my mom came into my room
"Hey sweet heart what are you doing huh?"
My mother was always really sweet to me unlike my father he never really gave a dam about me.
"I'm reading.. well I was at least" I said
"I know sweetheart I know I'm sorry you had to hear that but he won't do it I hope"
She said with a worried expression
She came close and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"You know I love you right?"
She said to me
"Yea mom I know and I love you to"
"Awe your such a sweet girl but you should get to sleep beautiful girls need they're beauty sleep right?"
She still treats me like I'm six years old but I don't mind it.
"Yea mom you need to get your beauty sleep as well I'm only like this because of you" I said back to her
She gave me a smile and stood up from my bed and gave me a kiss on my head
"Goodnight angel I love you" she said
"I love you to mom sleep well" I said back to her.
She left my room and closed my door I put my book on my night stand and turned off my lamp and I drifted to sleep.
It didn't feel like long enough when I was being shaken by my dad
"Hey wake up we need to hurry!!" He said in a rush
"Our on this dress and the heels" he said
I was barely opening my eyes confused on why he wanted me to get dressed I sat up
"What why?" I asked
"Just don't ask any questions just do as I say dammit" he said yelling.
I was nervous I was always nervous when it came to my dad but I just did as he said and I get ready.
