Third person.

What Aera didn't expect of how her day would go on was her ending up in Heeseung's house. Peeking through the car window as Heeseung parks outside their garage, Aera looks at the house while taking her seatbelt off.

"Are your parents home?" Aera asked.

"They're coming home later at night." Heeseung said and stepped out of the car, as well as Haeun and so Aera followed.

Haeun ran straight into the house, Heeseung gets the groceries from the compartment before locking the car.

Aera feels flabbergasted entering the house. She roamed her eyes around, awed by the impressive interior that got her jaws dropped on the floor.

"Our mom's an interior designer." Heeseung implied, saying it directly to her ear, leaving to go to the kitchen. He placed the bags down on the kitchen counter, feeling a tug on his lips as he can see Aera eyeing every corner of the sitting room with an amused expression.

"Her job's amazing." Aera saluted.

"Miss pretty!" Haeun's mini voice soared through the hall until she saw her. The kid held Aera's hand and led her up the marble stairs.

"Do you wanna see my bedroom for a bit? You'll love it." Haeun beamed.

The room was coated in baby pink and white color, decorated with posters and stuffed toys in different sizes. It had a corner of a fort tent with dolls laid on the floor and another corner of her study table and a shelf filled with books.  Truly it was once Aera's dream room, seven-year-old her would cry in envy.

"What do you think?" Haeun asked.

"It's lovely. I'm jealous." Aera muttered, making them quietly giggle.

"Can I borrow Aera now?" Heeseung came in, leaning on the door frame and watching the two girls.

"Tsk, I'll go get change." Haeun rolled her eyes, closing her door after Aera and Heeseung went out.

"I'll show you something." Heeseung guided her inside his bedroom, which was very much different compared to his sister's.

His were darker, with dark blue walls and everything else in brown or black. You could clearly tell what Heeseung's interests are by the instruments hung or the ones on the floor and the gaming section, separated from his actual study table. It was quite intimidating.

"Have you ever played the guitar?" Heeseung asked, unzipping the instrument from its cover.

"I've wanted to, but I'm more of a pianist." Aera grinned (she's not, really, but only knows the basics).

Heeseung smiled and sat on the edge of his bed, settling before his fingers strum a song both of them have heard of.

Cause I'm off my face, in love with you.

It was a gentle play, Heeseung humming the song softly along with the melody on the guitar. Anyone who'd have someone to play a song for them would lose it. And right now, she was obliviously staring at his face, rather than at him playing. Although she'd prefer to think it's just Heeseung wanting to show off his guitar.

"That's really nice." Aera said in a soft voice like she was awestruck, and clapped her hands loudly after.

"Want me to teach you?" Heeseung patted the space beside him. Aera shrugged and sat, holding the guitar gently.

"Put your arm over, there," Heeseung instructed. If Aera was to say it out loud, her arm wasn't in a comfortable state.

Aera stuck all the strings creating a weird sound causing her to laugh while Heeseung scolded jokingly.

"Your fingers must be like this. So then when you strum... there you go." Heeseung brought Aera's fingers on the right strings, bringing it using his own hands.

The guitar lesson continues and Aera was getting the hang of it with help of Heeseung teaching her every note of the song. The two of them were serious about it. The skinship of their shoulders and arms didn't become a bother no matter how close they are.

And at last, after what felt like ages, perhaps Aera got the most of it. With a deep breath and an assuring smiling look from Heeseung, she started from the top once again.

"Your touch... blurred my vi... sion." Aera's singing falters while she struggles with where to put her fingers.

"It's your world... and I'm just in it," Aera couldn't refrain from a little chuckle to escape in between as she continues to sing out the words.

"Even sober I'm not thinking straight." This time, Heeseung joins in.

"Cause... I'm off my face, in love... with you..."

"I'm out my head... so into you."

"And I don't know how you do it,"

"But I'm forever ruined by... you. Oh-oh-oh." The final strum and the unrecorded cover finished like that, catching the pair looking at each other and letting out fits of giggles.

"Well done, pretty. Even your voice suits you." Heeseung complimented, getting Aera flustered. She handed the guitar back for him to put it back in its place.

Aera stood up to walk around the room, exploring what other things he holds. His walls were covered by posters of artists, Aera knowing most of them. She chuckled when she spotted 'Buzz' the toy, which she remembers is from an animated movie. Trophies are proudly displayed on a glass shelf.

"You've got all the talents." Aera mindlessly said.

"Yeah, guess you could say that." Heeseung replied, looking at her discover his collection.

What caught her eye the most was the picture standing on the nightstand. An image of seven young boys laughing all together in school uniforms. At the bottom is written,

May 2017. It's nice to spend the rest of my life with them :)

She didn't fight the huge smile forming on her lips because of how cute it was.

"They're my friends. We grew up altogether, and it's crazy how inseparable we are until now." Heeseung laughed.

"I'm the oldest among them. One is still in high school, but I'm not joking when I tell you he's as tall as me. Oh, that's the guy I've known since I was six."

Laughter seized the room as Heeseung tells stories about his friends that he would never tell right in front of them because from what he assumed how he was talking, he was getting a little sappy. The more Aera listens, she thinks, that the word friends isn't strong enough to describe the bond they have.

I think it's pretty obvious that
I've never played any type of instrument
ever in my life .

Slow updates because I'm rethinking
the decision I made of publishing this
without actually thinking of how it
would end.

ANYWAYS Heeseung's Off My Face cover
will forever be remembered just because
it was uploaded on my first day of exams
and made the day better :P
