"I don't want this relationship to be toxic. I promise I won't cross the line ever again. I'll try to trust you more, just don't ever break it", he spoke sincerely. She again nodded hesitantly.
-Taehyung's pov- The first time I met her, I never thought we will get married or even get in a basic situationship. However, the months I spent in hospital, I grew a little habitual of her nagging and teasing.
I never really found someone as intresting as her. Everything about her is just charming, the way she talks or walks. All the expressions she makes. I never knew someone can look adorable even while glaring.
Even though I kept my gaurds up on the blind date, I was somewhat happy to meet her again. The fact that she will be marrying me, kept me up whole night. Although I said I won't love her, but some part of me wanted to give it a try.
The day we were attacked I saw a different side of her, which was equally fascinating. I can't forget how she cuddled with me. I hope she will get comfortable enough to let her gaurd down around me. No matter how cold she acts, I still believe there's a naive and innocent girl hidden inside that shell. I do wish to make this marriage work. I get this feeling, that she is perfect for me.
Her phone started ringing.
Y/n- hello ... Y/n- yeah ... Y/n- ohhh alright
Call ended.
"I gotta go to hospital, dr. Lee will be needing my help in a surgery in the afternoon", she turned around to face him. He nodded and left her. She was about to leave, but then came back towards him.
"I f-orgive you this time", she didn't look in his eyes. "Really?", he smiled while she nodded. "Don't think anything stupid. It's just I can't stand your puppy like face", she said not letting her gaurd down. He let out a chuckle as she left.
Time skips The surgery ended by evening. She was leaving the hospital when someone pulled her behind a car. "Ahh", she gasped.
Y/n- SEOJUN WHAT- She lowered her volumn, "what are you doing here? And why did you suddenly-"
"Calm down!! I just wanted to see if you are okay. He didn't do anything stupid, right?", he cut her off in between and cupped her cheeks before speaking. "I am okay", she sighed removing his hands from her face.
"Did you see that video?", he asked. "Yes they are related to that incident somehow, but I'll find about it soon", she said confidently.
"Just take care!", Seojun pulled her in a hug. "Why didn't you answer my calls and texts?", she asked not hugging him back. "T-That... ohh yeah I was on a date with a pretty girl", he forced a laughter.
"Why did you call so many times though? I thought it was your marriage", he asked.
"Nothing... I just wanted to know why my best friend didn't attend my wedding. I wanted to ask, what else was more important?", she lied. Seojun's jaw tightenned as he tried to control the expressions of his face.
"Well you were settling with a handsome guy, so I had to look for a girl as well", he replied nonchalantly.
"I-I gotta go now, Taehyung must be waiting for me", she pulled out of hug. He nodded. She sat inside her car and left.
"If I picked up that call, would it have made any difference??", he wiped the tear that fell out of his eye.
