Letter from mom

They soon reached her dad's house, but he wasn't at home. Maids told that he is on a business trip to Paris. Y/n took Taehyung to her room.

"What happened y/n?", he asked. "Tae, I am not feeling good, like the vibe here is not like my house used to have", she spoke.

"What do you mean?", he frowned.

"You also came to my house before our wedding. Didn't you sense the difference??", she asked.

"Well to be honest, I did. Like it's not same. The servents are looking at us with side eyes like they are keeping eye on our activities", he delivered uncertainly.

"Exactly, moreover how can dad leave for a business trip? It's not even a week since mom died and he is already on trips", she sighed. Taehyung patted her back.

"I know it sound stupid but I am sensing something fishy", she mumbled suspeciously.

"It's not stupid, something is definitely fishy", he spoke.

"Taehyung let's go to Mom's room."
He nodded.

They went to her room and started searching her things carefully.
Y/n found the treasure box of her mom, she opened it and found lot of things inside.

There was a heart shaped pendent in it, a lot of pictures of her brother and her.
Their old memories.. and stuffs.
Then she found a letter.

"My dear y/n
I don't know whether I'll be alive or not when you will read it, but I want you to know that don't trust anyone around you. You may regret some of your decisions you are taking right now... so think wisely. Always remember I'll always be there with you, whether alive or dead. Before anything keep Jiwoo somewhere safe so that she can't be your weakness. I am trying my best to find evidence against the culprit, but what if I died before that.
I repeat don't trust anyone blindly.
I love you my child...!! Sorry for not being a good mother for you and your oppa."

"Mom I miss you", tears were rolling down her cheeks by now.
Taehyung pulled her in a hug and patter her back.
She broke down while hugging him.
He let her cry it out this time.

They began searching more things once she calmed down. Taehyung found the bag of her medicines. "Was your mom suffering from some chronic illness?", he asked. "Yeah high BP", she replied shortly.

"Someone replaced her medicines with the medicine of low bp. May be that's the reason behind..."

"Who can do this??", she frowned. "I suspect everyone in this house", Taehyung said without any filter.

"No, not these people, no one can touch her things except her nurse who used to deliver her medicines every week", y/n's eyebrows furrowed.

"What's the day today??", she asked. "Friday!"

"It's done by the nurse. She must have delivered the wrong medicine on Sunday. On monday mom took them and then....", y/n sighed.

"Do you know the hospital where she works?", he asked. "Yeah, it's where I am doctor. Dad's hospital to be precise", y/n spoke. They left in hurry.

"Hello miss... I am doctor y/n. I wanted to meet nurse Chloe who was assisting my mother, I mean wife of chairman", y/n asked.

"Iam sorry mam she is on off since 5 days", receptionist gave professionally trained smile.
