**TW/ mention of drugs and kidnapping**

With mid-terms approaching, Macau and Porchay hardly spent time together and it had begun to bug Chay. The boy had just left his faculty building grumbling about leaving school after seven. His theory exams were not what bothered Chay though. It was the song he had to write for one of his classes that had him staying at school late. It had been a week since he'd last seen Macau because he had bailed on their training sessions and it was doing nothing for his already foul mood. He hadn't seen his new favourite person in so long and he had to spend a lot of time around Kim because his peer mentor was sick. As if having to spend time around Kim a few of the older girls in their major had begun shipping Chay and Kim. Had it been a couple of months earlier Chay may have liked it but now it left him feeling pure irritation that he couldn't let out because one, they were older than him and throwing a fit would only land him in trouble, and two, he couldn't kick Macau or at least try during their training sessions to vent.

The boy had been absent-mindedly walking down the dimly lit street back to his apartment building while blasting music into his ears so he didn't realise when two men sneaked up on him from behind until one of them had their hand on his neck. Chay was yanked into an alley between two buildings before he was harshly shoved into a wall. He looked frantically between the two men trying to may out their faces but it was too dark but. At least he was sure it was only two of them.

He waited a brief moment waiting for one of them to do or say something but nobody spoke or acted, "If you want money or my phone just take them and let me go," Chay said irritated before reaching into his pocket and shoving the phone into the closest person's chest before turning to walk out of the alley.

He was immediately pulled back as he heard something clatter to the floor, so I'm not getting mugged. Chay knew that he wasn't really safe walking around by himself but he didn't someone would try to abduct him again. The first time wasn't exactly fun and his brother was only a bodyguard so this time he'd probably actually get hurt. That was when he began to panic but he wasn't as scared as he thought he would be in that situation. He tried to walk forward before he was slammed back into the wall. Suddenly an old pop song filled the space in the dark alley and one of the men standing there with Chay pulled his phone out of his pocket and walked a few steps away to answer the call. That was when Chay decided to do something that would either go very well or very wrong.

With both men slightly distracted and one of them not even paying attention to him, Chay grabbed the arm of the man pinning him against the wall before twisting. It wasn't what Macau had taught him but he had seen enough action movies to know it worked. The man dropped to his knees easier than Chay thought he would and was about to call out to his partner when Chay swung at his face hearing something crack before the man fell, "Maybe I shouldn't have kicked so hard," the boy mumbled picking up the phone before turning to run out of the alley.

He was almost out until he was yanked back by his hair, "Oi! Why do you have to grab my hair like that?" the boy shouted.

He twisted around and struck the man in the chest as hard as he could. The man stumbled a step back before lunging at Chay again only to be kicked in the shin and then in the crown jewels. Chay didn't have any real skill yet so he just hit the man where he knew it would hurt. When the man dropped to his knees with his hands otherwise occupied Chay brought his foot up to his face sending him to the ground.

When Chay turned around he was met with someone standing in the opening of the alley and was about to turn to run in the opposite direction until he realised it was just the person he had been missing all week. Chay grabbed Macau's hand and started running down the street. He didn't know why he was running because he was well aware of the fact that if those men came after him Macau would take care of it but he kept running until they were outside their apartment building huffing and puffing, "Nice moves back there," Macau taunted leaning against the building wall to catch his breath.
