AN: The title has nothing to do with the story, well kind of.
Roderich hated school. It bored him, so keep himself accupied he looked out the window and imagined random things happening outside. Like what would happen of Elizabeta would have punched Gilbert, or if Vash would have beaten up that kid that gave Lily the love letter.
Sometimes that didn't work and he would write music notes on his assignments. Only to discover he had written a whole song and covered the paper in music notes. Yes, school bored Roderich, but there was one thing that always seemed to distract him from his boredom. The person sitting next to him, Gilbert Beilschmidt, the most popular kid in the school, and a band member of one of the most popular bands in school.
Everything was always different when Gilbert was around. One day he would be throwing erasers at Roderich and another day it would be paper airplanes. He would always yell at Gilbert once class was over but it was Elizabeta that always did something about it. Whether it was hitting Gilbert with a frying pan or threatening him with the most random of things she always seemed to stop him for some time. But the next day it was always the same, Gilbert annoying Roderich.
Today was no exception. Crumbled pieces of paper bounced off of Roderich's unruly brown hair. Fixing his glasses Roderich clenched his teeth trying his best to ignore the pieces of paper and the snickering. He was drawing a piano on his math homework, covering some of the math problems but he didn't really care. Suddenly something hard hit him in the head causing hid glasses to drop from the bridge of his nose and a large streak of pencil mark across his paper. Standing up he glared at Gilbert and yelled, "will you stop that?!" He yelled, but stopped when he noticed the whole class and the teacher staring at him. Stuttering and blushing he sat back down and dug his nails in the palm of his hand when he heard the signature snicker of a certain albino next to him.
Since that little outburst Roderich tried his best to ignore Gilbert and keep his distance from him, but wherever he went it seemed that Gilbert was always there, one step ahead. And like any other day, today wasn't any different. Gilbert was there, leaning on his locker looking at Roderich with bright ruby red eyes. "Hey priss, didn't see you in class today, did you skip class?" He said, his german accent noticeable, wait change that, Prussian accent. Since Gilbert always said he was a Prussian, though Roderich was sure he didn't even know what that was. Letting out a sigh he shook his head, "no Gilbert, I was in the music room. They wanted me to test out the new piano they had installed." Gilbert snickered and took a step closer to Roderich. "God priss, always so boring." He said leaning towards Roderich, who leaned back. "Just because I enjoy classical music better than that excuse of music you play doesn't mean you have to call me out on it." He said, glaring at Gilbert. Gilbert sneered and handed Roderich an envelope, "whatever, just take this and be on time, I'll show you what real music is like." And with that he left a confused Roderich standing in the middle of the hallway.
Once Roderich arrived home he set the envelope on the table and set his backpack on the couch. Sitting down on one of the chairs he stared at the envelope, wondering what it could be. Roderich let out a sigh finally giving up and tearing the envelope open. Inside was a single piece of paper, a ticket for one of Gilbert's concerts. Roderich felt his cheeks heat up and put the ticket back in the envelope. Now way was he going to that concert, with loud unbearable music and sweating teenagers all around him, the thought of it disgusted him. But at the same time he did want to see what one of the concerts was like, and he could always take Elizabeta with him. Checking the date on the ticket he realized it was that very night and quickly ran to get his cellphone, once he
had it he rapidly dialled Elizabeta's number and put it next to his ear.O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O
Roderich had never felt as out of place as he had at the concert. Wearing nothing but a black shirt and a pair of jeans along with some simple sneaker he stood of the middle of the crowd next to Elizabeta waiting for the band to start. Elizabeta had forced him to take of his glasses, though he protested strongly against it. Without his glasses he felt plain and simple, though he knew that purple eyes wasn't common he still didn't like going anywhere without them. Looking around the crowd he spotted Ludwig, Gilbert's younger brother, and couldn't help but sigh. Gilbert saw him and with a smile waved, besides him Feliciano waved his hands as well. Grabbing Elizabeta's hand and dragging her along he stopped when they arrived where Ludwig and Feli were. "Roderich it's so good to see you, and you to Elizabeta!" Said Feli happily and he gave them both a quick hug. "Yes, it's good to awe you to Feli, do you come to many of their concerts." Elizabeta asked cheerfully, Feli nodded happily. "We do, almost to all of them when we don't have a lot of homework or a test the day before, they're always so fun." Roderich and Elizabeta nodded in understanding, but stopped when they heard the footsteps on the stage. They header they're attention to the four men on the stage. Arthur, Francis, Antonio and Gilbert were on the stage. Gilbert's attention headed to the brunette in the crowd and he smirked and winked, causing Roderich's cheeks to burn. Soon after the music started.
