Type

I waved at the man who was walking towards me The handsome man with dark hair and grey eyes smiles as he went closer.

" You're late" I chuckled lightly as I looked at the man in front of me. Fiat has been consistent in picking me up after work. It was actually Fiat who got me this job at the restaurant.

A few weeks back when I had a talk with Yaai I told myself that I am going to start a new. And so I reached out to Fiat and told him about my whereabouts. I don't know why I called him first but I just remembered that I promise to let him know where was I before I left. And I was surprised when he immediately went to visit me.

Fiat was the one who told me about a job opening at the restaurant. Luckily the owner was a previous client and when Fiat asked if they have an opening the owner immediately hired me.

" How are you today?" Fiat asked as he helped me with my bag

" Couldn't have been better, There are lot of customers today. It was tiring yet fun how about you?" I asked

Fiat's fingertips went to my face as he tucked away some strands of hair that was blown by the wind. His hands continued to trace my face gently causing my face to turned red.

" Stop looking at me like that..." I told him while averting my gaze at his beautiful grey eyes

" like what? hmmm?" Fiat's hand went to my chin and brought my face closer

" Like I care about you Type? That I yearn to be the one you think about? Or was it how I look at you with so much care and adoration that it makes my heart swell just by looking at you" he said to me

" Fiat.... I..." I was too stunned to say anything, what was I supposed to say to the man who is laying what he feels towards me.

" I think I have fallen for you Type, since the day I saw you in the resort I never stopped thinking about you. When you left and disappear for 2 weeks I.. I din't know what to do. You don't know how much I tried to look for you and when you finally called me I felt so relieved that I had to go to you and see you. No one has ever captivated me as much as you did Type. I wanted to be the one to protect you."

Our lips softly touches, but there was no sparks or that fluttering sensation compared to the one that I felt for Tharn. But it was still comforting enough to make my heart swell. He tried to lean closer and gave me a deep kissed but he suddenly pulled away.

" I'm sorry Type... I didn't mean to take advantage of you. I just got carried away, But what I said was all true. I really care about you and I think I have fallen for you. Don't think that I am trying to say this sweet words just to get you. I really mean it."

" Thank you... for being honest and thank you for your affection but I can't give back what you are feeling, at least not now... I-I am not ready to open my heart again Fiat. I.. am still not over him. Im sorry..." My breath got caught in my throat.

He gave me a small smile " I wasn't expecting that you'd return my love after my declaration of my affection to you. I just want to let you know how grateful I am that I met you and you bring happiness to my life. I will wait for you whenever you are ready I might not have a place in your heart right now but at least let me show you how you should be treated."

I was touched by his words, If only I can force my heart to open up to him. But I can't... I don't want to give him false hope but deep in my heart I am still grateful for him, for letting me see my worth.
