"Jungkook! Turn down the music please!"
"Sorry hyung! I'm actually going out in a bit. You need anything?"
"I'm good." Namjoon walked back to the coffee table where all of his paperwork was scattered. He sat down and put back his glasses. Jungkook walked out of his room, throwing on his leather jacket.
"Hyung, did you upload the ad?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, I did this morning."
"Anyone called in yet?"
"Nope. Ah can you grab some milk? We're out of it."
"Sure. I'm going!"
"Alright" Namjoon sighed, finally able to work on his project in piece. Rooming with Jungkook was more difficult than it seemed. He was a good kid but still in this rebel phase where parties and loud music took up majority of his life. Namjoon has always been more on the calmer, mature side. He had his goals that he was working hard on to achieve. If he had to be labeled by society, the term would be "nerd". But of course Namjoon doesn't care about those useless labels. He knows what he wants and knows how to get it. Building a career and a safe future for himself was a top priority. With Jungkook, things were a little different. His motto – Live in the moment. Figuratively speaking he was one of those people who didn't care even if the ceiling was about to fall down. He loves to be entertained 24\7 and sitting alone in silence is a true torture. Even though they both are polar opposites they managed to build a friendship which was laid on respecting each other's boundaries. Of course there were numerous fights and there still are, but working through them helped with their synergy.
After their first rented flat, which was undoubtedly a disaster of a living space, they decided to move to a bigger, better place. Not anything super fancy but at least somewhere without mold, leaks and occasional cockroaches. They managed to get a sweet deal on a 4 – room flat, which was a little over their budget but was too good of a deal to miss on. This led to the decision of finding a third roommate to be able to afford living there.

"How's the roommate search going?" Asked Taehyung while he ever so gently cleaned his saxophone.
"Still no candidates. But it's been like a day since we published the ad so... I'm positive we'll find someone." Jungkook responded strumming mindlessly on his guitar.
"I wish I could join you guys, but paying rent when I have a whole house with my mum's delicious cooking seems like a stupid idea."
"Okay mommy's boy. Congratulations on having zero sex life." He snorted and avoided the slap aimed at him.
"Fuck you Jeon Jungkook. I'll remind you of this conversation next time you ask to come by for dinner."
Jungkook laughed when he felt something buzzing in his pocket. "Oh Namjoon hyung is calling, wait. Yeah hyung? ... Really? Already? ... Hoseok hyung suggested him? ... Alright I'm coming back in a little."
Taehyung listened carefully, tilting his head to the side. "There's a lucky winner?"
"Hoseok hyung suggested some boy from his art class. Said he needed a place to stay. They'll swing by in an hour. I gotta go"
"Okay text me details later. If he's hot I call dibs!"
"Yeah cause last time you said that, things with Namjoon hyung turned out so good!"
"Tsk ... As if it's my fault you didn't warn me the guy was straight!"
"Yeah and your first move was to straight up grab his ass AHH-" Jungkook was interrupted by a kick to the shin as a farewell from his loving friend.
