Lexi gets a call from dr Ryan
Lr- hey, is there something wrong?
Dr- no, I just wanted to let you know that you didn't test positive for anything and neither did your baby so you guys are completely healthy
Lr- that's great
Dr- yes, spread the news. But there was something that was drawn from your blood that I need you to come in so I can tell you
Lr- ok. When?
Dr - tomorrow cause it's too late today
Lr- ok
Dr Ryan hangs up
A- who was that babe?
Lr- just dr Ryan
A- what's wrong?
Lr- nothing she just wanted to let me know that me and the baby didn't test positive for anything but she has something to tell me in person so I'm gonna go in tomorrow
A- ok, do you want me to come with?
Lr- no you have plans with Sebastian and them. I'll call you if there's anything wrong
A- ok
P- I can go with you tomorrow lex. I mean Brent's taking kailey to some daddy daughter thing so I was just gonna be home alone anyways
Lr- are you sure? I mean I don't want to disrupt your you time
P- I have enough me time. And plus, we haven't really gotten to hang out lately so maybe we could just spend the day tomorrow
Lr- ok. But I need to tell my friends outside of this group that I'm pregnant and we have a dinner. You can come if you want
P- no that's fine. Brent and kailey will be back probably before that dinner starts so I can just drop you off at your house and you can get ready
Lr- ok
A- that sounds like a plan
Lr- yeah. The appointment isn't until 3 and that's when Andrew's leaving to hang out with his friends and my dinner's at 7 so that should be plenty of time to hang out
Br- yeah and I can just keep kailey busy until 6:30 ish
P- that sounds good
Sd- looks like y'all are set for tomorrow
Lr- do you wanna be part of our plans?
Sd- no I have plans with my family and dom anyways
A- ok
Br- we're gonna head out cause we don't wanna leave the babysitter there too long in case kailey gets too fussy
P- yeah we gotta go
Lr- we have to go too anyways
A- yeah I'll wait until Pierson comes and picks you up to head out
Lr- ok
They all leave and go home
Lr- that was fun
A- yep
Andrew unlocks the door to their apartment and they head to the couch and put on a movie
Lr- I feel like all we do now is watch movies
A- do you have a problem with that?
Lr- nope. We should probably get as much rest and relaxation ad we can before the baby comes
A- yeah cause I can already tell she's gonna be a handful
Lr- yeah
They watch movies for the rest of the night and eat dinner and Lexi falls asleep on the couch
A- let's get you to bed hon
Andrew Carrie's Lexi to the bed and lies her down gently. She crouches up into a little ball and Andrew lies down and spoons her. Lexi relaxes and he falls asleep with her in his arms. Lexi wakes up around 9 am and starts getting ready. She makes breakfast and eats and then she wakes up Andrew
A- hey baby
Andrew yawns and stretches
Lr- hey. I'm already ready for the day so you might want to start getting ready too
A- ok. What time is it?
Lr- 10
A- damn
Lr- your good, I mean I know you fell asleep after you put me in bed cause I remember falling asleep on the couch
A- yeah. I just thought that I was gonna wake up before you and make you this whole breakfast in bed thing
Lr- maybe another day
A- ok. Did the baby grow overnight cause your stomach definitely did? And I know your not fat because you haven't been eating nearly as much as you probably should especially since your eating for two
Lr- I didn't even notice. I mean I could feel a little extra heavy but I didn't notice my bump
A- well it's definitely bigger
Lr- I'll just ask dr Ryan today at the appointment
A- I wish I could go with you today
Lr- I know but you made plans with your friends weeks ago and todays the only day you've been able to do it so you should. I promise that your not gonna miss anything
A- but you'll call me if something happens, right?
Lr- of course. Now go get ready. And your breakfast is out there waiting for you
A- ok
Andrew takes a gal an hour to get ready and he meets Lexi out in the living room
A- hey babe
Lr- took you long enough
A- like your gonna act like it didn't take you longer
Lr- I had to cook breakfast
A- I could've cooked
Lr- yeah but you were asleep and I didn't want to wait for you to wake up
A- yeah I get it. But you could've just woken me up and had me make breakfast
Lr- you needed your sleep. We both did
They watch tv shows for hours until Pierson gets there at about 2:15
Lexi opens the door
Lr- hey P
P- hey lex, you ready?
Lr- yep. Let me go grab my purse
Lexi grabs her purse and kisses Andrew on her way out
A- your leaving already?
Lr- yes babe I gotta go
A- ok Andrew gets up and hugs Lexi. He runs Lexi's stomach and bends down. He talks straight to her stomach
A- be good for mommy little one
Lexi musses with Andrew's hair and he stands up
A- I love you
Lr- I love you too
A- make sure to call me afterwards so I'll know what's up
Lr- ok babe. Bye
A- bye
Lexi and Pierson leave
P- that was sweet
Lr- he's a sweet fella
P- to us, no. But when he's around you, he's the best person anybody's ever met
Lr- I guess I just change him
P- in a better way
Lr- yeah
Lexi and Pierson get in the car and drive to Dr Ryan's office. Pierson pulls up on the corner
P- do you want me to come in?
Lr- no, it should be quick and then we can have our girls day
P- ok. Text me when your on the way out so I can circle back and pick you up
Lr- ok
Lexi heads in and Pierson parks and plays on her phone. Lexi Walsh up to the front desk
Lr- hi I'm here for dr Ryan
Dr Ryan walks out at that moment
Dr- Lexi
Lr- hey doc
Dr- follow me
Lr- ok
Lexi and dr Ryan head back to a room
Lr- what's going on?
Dr- lie down, I need to show you something
Lexi lies down and dr Ryan starts the ultrasound
Lr- I thought the next one wasn't for another 5 weeks
Dr- this couldn't wait
Dr Ryan pulls the machine close to Lexi
Dr- I missed something last time that I didn't catch until yesterday
Lr- what is it dr Ryan? Your starting to scare me
Dr Ryan points to the machine
Dr- do you see that?
Lr- see what?
Dr- there's another head
Lr- my baby has two heads?
Dr- no Lexi, your having two babies. Your pregnant with twins
