y/n showed the two boys around the castle. she walked around saying minimal things about the many rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, a small preview of the huge ballroom, the theater, their tennis courts, the library, even though that wasn't all if y/n really showed them everything she'll have to spend more time with them so she finished the little tour in the garden.

the final stop at the garden was a lot more longer than any other. for the whole time y/n was the one speaking, she never answered any of the boys questions. she noticed george still walking behind her, he probably knew all of this already or simply didn't care. It was hard to tell from his straight face.

From all the walking a lot of servants were staring at the four of you. Some speaking amongst themselves and the others just stared in silence. Nothing really bothered you, you just wanted to go to your room and cry.

"nice garden" clay nodded walking around.

y/n took a seat on a concrete bench close to the roses. Crossing her legs, she nodded with no type of gratitude for the compliment. y/n didn't do any work for this garden so clays compliment didn't matter to her.

"george" y/n said looking up at her knight. "could you be good and bring me a glass of water please?" she asked seeing a surprised expression on george's face. She touched her neck motioning her thirst.

george has never been referred to by his real name around the castle. usually he was just called a knight or 'you' by the king and queen. only colleagues or karl called him by his real name. it didn't make sense why y/n was being different with him, or even bothered to remember his name.

"of course. it would be my pleasure, princess" george said easily accepting y/ns task.

"stop with the formality im y/n" y/n said she had her hands on either side of her hips on the concrete. she looked up at george with big eyes knowing clay and sapnap were watching. You wanted to

and it worked.

"not for long" clay chimed in with a passive aggressive tone in his words. jealousy took over the prince at the sight of some random knight getting more attention from his supposed wife than he had this whole time. something clay was great with was reflecting his insecurities towards those who were below him.

"yo" sapnap nudged his side.

"what?" clay was also the most cynical person anyone could cross paths with. "i'm just saying she will be queen this summer so she should be treated as such" clay explained, speaking confidently. his back was straight and his shoulders were pushed back, showing his best posture knowing all eyes were on him now. this stupid scene made y/n roll her eyes. "make it two glasses of water yeah? thanks a bunch" clay said holding up two fingers and sending the knight a teasing wink. he then went back yo admiring the many roses of the garden.

"right on prince clay" george nodded and made his way out.

y/n wished the flowers clay was touching were venenous. that could be added to the list of ways y/n could get rid of clay.

clay and sapnap began to talk to the other while y/n contemplated the clear sky from the clean skylights on her ceiling. it was a nice day it was tragic she had to spend it with these two.

george was taking longer than she expected so that's when y/n got up leaving the two boys looking at the berry tree in one corner of the big garden.

she had no need to announce her departure, y/n just got up and left with quick strides so they won't notice her.

"princess?" y/n heard george's voice say with uncertainty. He was holding both glasses of water with ice cubes, he had to back away carefully making sure that he wouldn't spill anything. Y/n didn't even say anything to him, she gave him a look then turned to the door; closing it and locked it with a key she took out of her pocket. It looked like for once she was showing another type of emotion besides annoyance. A small smirk appeared on her lips from the thrill. she turned around raising an eyebrow at george with a cheeky grin, trying to get her to say her name. Something about his voice made her name sound more elegant. "i mean— y/n" he corrected himself.

"good boy" y/n teased with a wink. she turned around and waved her hand to the side. "now hide" y/n warned looking at the small window from the door and moved to the side.

"what about the water?" george asked with a hushed voice.

"who cares" y/n said but then took a better look at the four ice cubes on her water. "you know what? thanks george" y/n said taking the water and drinking it. she was pretty thirsty after walking around the endless castle.

"may i ask why are we hiding?" george asked.

y/n stopped drinking about half way to her glass and turned back around.

"waiting until those dumbasses realize i locked them here" y/n chuckled a little. she sounded even more evil than her father, george thought. but something about her made george not see her evil mind as a bad thing. it was captivating for him and rather attractive.

"the short one isn't that bad don't you think?" george asked his voice feeling more relaxed and his accent showing more than before. y/n picked it up right away.

"meh" she turned around and shrugged, glass still in hand. "Everyone associated with royalty is an asshole" She said, watching the boys inside the locked garden.

"if you really want to torment them i could turn on the sprinklers if you'd like?" george suggested. he heard y/n gasp right away.

"yes, yes, yes!" y/n practically cheered slapping george's chest in excitement. "george that's so good. do it. Now." y/ns eyes widened slightly, taking the glass from george's hand and motioning him to go.

george nodded and walked to where all the light switches were. he knew exactly what to do.

"if i lose my job it's going to be your fault" george said looking over at y/n.

"george if you do this i will change your life" y/n promised with the same sick expression in her eyes. "I promise" Y/n raised her pinky finger to make a promise to George.

george smirked slightly looking at y/n counting on him. he wasn't sure if he could trust y/n that much but it will feel so good to know he ruined the day of the guy that treated him like shit. it was george's turn to be on control.

"Deal" George curled his pinky finger with Y/n sealing the deal.

With that George flicked the switch of the sprinklers and another switch y/n didn't know about.

george stepped back to y/n and looked at the show begin.

inside the garden clay and sapnap flinched at the cold water hitting their skin. their first instinct was to cover themselves with their arms. while the water went everywhere they felt the lighting in the garden shift to dark. the only lighting they had now was the few colorful lights going everywhere in the garden.

they were confused and wet as they ran towards the door, but for their luck george had put the intensity of the sprinklers to the highest intensity.

while clay tried to run towards the door he slipped with the water on the floor and went into the fountain.

"DREAM!" sapnap yelled trying to fetch for his friend.

both y/n and george bursted our laughing looking at clay fall in the fountain. they looked at clay struggle in the water. he could've easily gone on his feet taking his height but he didn't.

sapnap had to pull him out of the water, clay looked like a toddler slamming his hands on the water.

his perfect hair was ruined, his face was flushed with anger, he was now slouching, and for the first time he wasn't smiling. he broke so easily.

y/n passed george the glass of water that was supposed to be clays and they both clinked their glasses together. as a celebration they chugged their water leaving the glasses clean. when they were finished y/n grabbed george's hand and ran out of the garden with him.

clay stared at them with anger as sapnap helped him out of the fountain.

"clay are you okay?" sapnap asked once they were out.

"she wants to play dirty? then let's play dirty" clay said ignoring sapnaps question. he wiped water off his face which was redundant but he didn't care.

clay will make y/n go down.
