Erix growled angrily as he ripped the vampire's head off its body with his claws. He panted lightly and looked around him at the bloody mess left behind. Then he took out his new phone and took a picture.

"Job's done. I want my money."

He received two messages.

"Thank you, Mr. Hale!"

The other message was a notification that $1,600 had been sent to his account. Erix got in his car and drove away. He pulled up to the loft and got out. He knocked on the door three times before it opened. Derek grinned widely as Erix walked inside.

"What creature is it this time," Derek asked, closing the door.

"Vampire, Ghoul, and... Wendigo, I think," Erix said, looking at his heavily stained clothes, "Where's Pete?"

"With his daughter," Derek said, leaning against the wall.

Erix hummed while opening a beer.

"How much did you make," Derek asked.

Erix reached into his duffle bag and pulled out three stacks of cash.

"Still have about $1,600 I need to withdraw from my account," Erix said, "How much does your pack need?"

"You have to talk to Scott about that," Derek said, "He is the alpha after all."

"Alright, well, I'll take a quick shower and head to his house," Erix said.

"Sounds good," Derek smiled, "Also, it's really good to have you home, Uncle E."

"Good to be home, kiddo," Erix smiled warmly.

Erix knocked on the McCall's front door. Scott opened the door and grinned.

"Hey, Erix," Scott greeted.

"Hi," Erix said, "May I come in?"

"Sure," Scott said, stepping aside.

"Scott, who is that...?"

Melissa stared at Erix, who smiled at her.

"Hello, Melissa," Erix said, waving.

"Hi, Erix," Melissa said, smiling flirtatiously, "What brings you here?"

"Drop off any funds your family may need," Erix said.

"Well, aren't you just the sweetest," Melissa chuckled, "You don't have to do that."

"Nonsense," Erix said, waving his hand, "I insist."

"You keep spoiling us I may have to keep you," Melissa flirted.

Erix chuckled.

"Mom, don't you have to, um, do something," Scott asked, showing his disapproval of the flirting.

"Right! I have to go to work," Melissa said, grabbing her keys, "I'll see you later. It was nice seeing you, Erix."

"You as well," Erix said.

After she left, Scott apologized profusely.

"It's alright, Scott," Erix laughed, "It's flattering honestly. She's really sweet."

"Thanks," Scott said, "I think."

"I was told to talk to you about any funds your pack may need," Erix said.

"More," Scott asked, "You have more money to give away to my pack? At this point, everything we need is paid for completely because of you."

"Any luxury you need then," Erix asked, "Bills? Anything?"

"Dude, you paid enough to take care of all our bills for about 15 months," Scott sassed, "My phone is covered for up to 5 years now."

"So no on the bills," Erix asked.

"No, Erix," Scott chuckled, "We're alright."

"What about vehicles," Erix asked, "How are all of your cars?"

"Well, let's see, because of you, Stiles's car is working like brand fucking new," Scott said, "My motorcycle feels like I'm floating when I ride it. Lydia's car is rides and looks like she just bought it yesterday. Theo's truck is brand new. Should I go on?"

"So I'm guessing you don't need a new repair at all," Erix asked.

"Erix," Scott said sternly.

"Okay, okay," Erix sighed.

"Why not do something for yourself," Scott suggested, "Go on a date or something?"

"I don't know," Erix said.

"Oh please," Scott sighed, "Have you not dated since you've been with you know who?"

"Yes..."

"One-night stands do not count."

"No."

Scott sighed and held out his hand.

"Phone."

"What for," Erix asked.

"Just give it here," Scott said.

Erix handed it over and Scott went to the apps store. He downloaded a dating app there.

"On here you can do a whole profile and choose who you're interested in," Scott explained, "That way you can stop wasting your money on things we don't need."

Erix nodded and smiled.

"Thanks, Scott," Erix said.

"Anytime," Scott said sincerely.

Erix headed back home to try out the new app Scott downloaded for him.
