Charles POV
I paced back and forth waiting for the news about Henry when Ellie can running in looking worried. "Hey is Henry okay! You call me in a panic!"
"I don't know the doctors haven't told me yet."
"Hey Henry is a fighter he will be okay plus he survived from a lot of danger before." Ellie was trying her best making sure I don't have a heart attack.
"Thanks Ellie I really need it," I hugged Ellie as a nurse came walking toward us.
"Excuse me are you Charles Calvin," the nurse asked.
"Yeah but how is he!? Is he hurt!?"
"He only have some burn scars over arms and legs. I honestly shocked that his body can even take electricity unlike most men I met."
"Well he is Henry Stickmin after all. He can survived from everything and he's the partner we ever have," Ellie said.
"Y-yeah he is," I agreed.
"Alright then you guys can see him but makes sure that Henry take a few weeks to rest also he can leave from the hospital," the nurse said.
"We understand," I said. The nurse walk away and I ran to Henry's room with Ellie right behind me. I kick down the door with Henry sitting up on the bed. "You idiot don't scare me like that." I immediately hugged Henry and he just smiled back to me.
"Yeah sorry about that looks like I broke my promise," Henry joked.
"Don't joked around about this situation you idiot." Henry kept laughing and I just smiled. I was just happy he's not serious injury or worse in a coma. Ellie just walked in laughing.
"Hey buddy how you are doing. And how are you dealing with the betrayal of a rare crystal," Ellie said.
"Shut up Ellie," Henry shouted.
"Henry calm down you just got hurt hours ago," I said. I rub Henry's white hair and he relaxed Ellie just stand there giving me a smug look.
"Um hey speaking of crystal Charles what happened to that rock," he asked.
"Well that crystal was obviously powerful and dangerous I couldn't think straight and just careful put the crystal under your bed. Oh also I informed the general what happened yesterday and this morning."
"Really Charles you hide the magical thing under the bed," Ellie said.
"Like I say I couldn't think straight Ellie."
"Hey chill you two I don't want you guys fight just like for the last slice of pizza ," Henry laughed.
"Whatever Henry anyway you can leave the hospital but you can't work for a few weeks and had to take a break," I said. Henry looked upset but he knew that I was right.
"Fine but this is going to be so boring," Henry complained but I slap him and glared at him.
"Come on let's leave before you killed him," Ellie joked.
"But can I please come with you guys I promise I won't doing anything dangerous," Henry begged.
"I wondered why I don't believe you plus you need to go back home," I snarled.
"Please Charlie it's will be so boring without you and Ellie," Henry gave me "innocent eyes" and faking crying just to convince me.
"Ugh alright you can come with us but stay close to me I don't trust you being by yourself." Henry got up from the bed and grab my hand pulling me out of there and Ellie was just running after us.
Time Skip: At the military base
"Hey I'm going to lift some weights over there I see you guys later," Ellie said, as she ran off. Henry still looked annoyed that he can't do anything.
