~five weeks later after glee practice~
~Mr. Shue's POV~

Today was a really good day but Kurt seemed really out of it today, he didn't even argue with Rechel about singing a solo or having the highest pitch. I was really worried about him but was relieved that he decided to talk to me after practice.

{flashback start}

Glee practice was just ending, and I was worried about Kurt since he had been quiet all class, so I was concerned and confused when he marched over to me and asked to talk to me in private. I wasn't the only one, everyone else (sans Rachel) stopped what they were doing to stare at Kurt like he grew a second head. I quickly told everyone that I would see them tomorrow and steered Kurt in my office shutting the doors behind me.

{flashback end}

I brought a chair from the corner and put it in front of Kurt before asking, "So what did you want to talk about Kurt, you were quiet in class I was worried about you?" He was quiet and fidgety like he was nervous, "I'm not rushing you, you can talk whenever you feel like it."

"Do you think I'm being emotionally manipulated by Blaine" He blurted out before going silent, I was shocked and not at all expecting this I didn't even know where he would get that idea. Unless... "What exactly brought this on if I may ask?" I asked as gently as I could, he then recounted what Sebastian said to him yesterday including the apology.

I was shocked and even more concerned and worried than before, not for just Kurt but Sebastian. If what he said was true, then... "Kurt why don't you stay away from Blaine for the rest of the week (it's Wednesday) and talk to Sebastian on the phone, just get to know him then see how you feel by Monday" I said.

"But what am I going to tell Blaine when he asks why we don't hang out or talk anymore!" Kurt exclaimed worried, "Just tell him you're stressed about everything going on, and that the Kolaski thing got to you more than you thought, and you just need some time to think and process it all" I said calmly. "As a matter of fact, why don't you text him now that you're going to be "busy" until Monday and you'll talk to him then" I said, he looked worried, so I said, "You won't have to confront him at all and I'll be right here in case something happens".

Kurt looked a lot calmer after that and did exactly what I asked and even muted Blaine. He sighed and slumped in his seat, seemingly relieved, "Now do you want to tell your dad about Blaine?" I asked gently. "I'll call my dad, but can you stay with me?" Kurt suggested meekly, "That's totally fine, do whatever you need I'll be right here if you need anything" I said.

~Kurt's POV~

I nodded and started calling my dad on my phone, before putting it on speaker so we could both hear what he was saying. It dialed for a minute or two he picked up sounding a bit concerned.

"Hey Kurt, what's up? Did something happen?"

I opened my mouth to say something, anything that wouldn't worry him, but nothing came out and I looked to Mr. Shue for help. He nodded and started calmly but seriously talk to my dad, "Hi, Mr. Hummel it's Mr. Shue here, Kurt's Spanish and glee teacher. And we have a bit of a problem with Blaine and Kurt."

"Problem? What kind of problem, he's not hurting Kurt is he?"

"That's the thing dad, I think he might be emotionally manipulating me to stay in a relationship with him" I said slightly sinking in my seat even as I said it, knowing what my dad was about to do.
