fitz was browsing the hall. he finally left the lab and decided to get some "sleep" in his system. he walked down the halls, and passes jemma's room. he pauses and slowly backs up. he starts tracing her doorframe before he footsteps.

"hi" jemma says, "oh—hey" fitz responds . he doesn't know what happened, they used to finish each other sentences, and now they can barely look at each other, without getting a sense of grief.

"can't sleep?" jemma states, "yeah" he replies. they both look at each other surreal, not being able to take the moment in.

"back there, the sun never rose. everyday was like a loop." jemma says, and fitz looks up from his feet and into her eyes, for the first time in a while.

"i'm sorry." jemma starts, "no, don't apologize." "you're perfect." fitz states, and jemma smiles enlightening something in him that hasn't been there in ages.

"nobody's perfect fitz." jemma says, looking up at him. "well your not nobody." fitz responds, and jemma stares into his eyes, before she looks besides her.

down the hallway was a dim light from a window. the lovers, no, "specific friends", follow it. outside the window, was the sunset. fitz look at the sun before his eyes darted to jemma's lips.

jemma's eyes begin to do the exam same thing as if they were in sync. the two then kissed as the sun rises beside them.
