Here is a quick recap of the end of Chapter 13 :)

Lucian: I didnt even answer the receptionist. I just took down the hallway to the ladderwell and down to the where the celtics would be. I burst into the office and went to the department head; Aster. "Aster, I need you to tell me what happens if only part of the sigil is broken."

Aster: The chief was frantic. He must have not accomplished what he set out to do and only partially obstructed the sigil. "Well sir. If only part of the sigil was disturbed then only that part would be released." I then went cold. I had remembered providing to the chief that his sigil had 3 circles in it: one for his wolf, one for his memories, and one to replace those memories. If only the part about his wolf was broken, he would be able to shift and gain all the abilities of an alpha, but without his memories, he wouldnt know why.

Lucian: Aster went quiet all of the sudden and looked like a ghost. "DAMN IT!!!!" I yelled. "I only broke the first circle. He was going to be able to shift and not understand what was happening to him." I then put my fingers to my temples. There had to be a way out of this. If not, he was going to shift on the full moon, regardless of where he was, and that could put him in a lot of danger. Why didnt i come up with a solution to breaking the sigil that would be fool proof? "We have got to figure out a way to either break the rest of the sigil, or ensure that he is going to be with us for his shift." His scent would already be starting to change, he was already healing, his senses would start to shift and by the full moon, he would be a full alpha, but not know why.

Aster: I looked at the chief. Normally he was so methodical in his actions before he even took this first step, but i agreed with him. "I agree sir."

And now onto Chapter 14!!!!

Trey:  I began the drive over to the office.  It was already feeling like a long day.  Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting Sean, but I had my meeting with the chief which seemed to go well.  I then looked at the bandage on my arm.  No blood was coming through so that must mean that the wound has at least healed itself enough. I just hoped this wouldnt cause problems for anyone.  It was about 555pm when i pulled up to the office and walked up to the front.  I said hi to the security guard and then went up to my office.  The office was already bustling with activity like it had been the previous couple of nights. I wondered what Vlad and Carter would have for me tonight.

Carter:  I couldnt get Trey out of my head for the rest of the day.  Sean and I sat down and talked about the connection we both felt that we shared with him.  We both knew that Trey could be someone that we add to our relationship and it would strengthen everyone.  We just had to go about the right channels and ensure that is something Trey would even entertain.  I mean, this would potentially be asking him to give up a part of his life; the sunlight, the outdoors during the day, all of the friends he could have.   All of it would be changed forever.  At about 6pm, I looked out of the shaded windows and saw Trey's truck pull up.  I couldnt help but smile as he walked confidently into the building.  Everything about him was enticing to me and I was glad that my husband felt the same way.

Vlad:  I was expecting Trey any minute.  I figured he had answered all of the chief's questions; seeing as I didnt get a followup call from the chief.  I was hoping no news was good news.  Today, we were going to get Trey access to the rest of the building that typically only vampires had access to.  While Trey not having access wasnt job limiting, it would help for future projects and potentially integrating the vampire and human workforces in the distant future.  Who know what would happen in a decade from now; or even in a year from now.  I then looked to Carter's room.  He was looking out the window and smiling; that must mean that Trey had arrived.  I am guessing that their meeting had gone well.  I frowned a little bit, because i knew that if they intended on doing anything about Trey, it was going to be a long and hard process, but that was a future problem.  For now, I was just going to see where things took them.
