'I love you'. Those four words kept ringing in my ears, watching his smile grow; our skin glowing from the lights. His hands moved from mine and down to his pocket, reaching in slowly; pulling out his phone with his right hand.

He took his eyes off mine for a split second, shifting focus to the phone screen; quickly typing. His fingers stopped gliding with the screen, shoving the phone back into his pocket.

Acter we ate our food peacefully, Rocky paid the bill before leading me back to the car. I stood up from the booth, reaching my hand out for him to grab. His hand felt warm, sweaty almost.

"Let's go home, my love." He said as we strode out of the restaurant.

Walking back to the car took as a lot longer to reach, as we walked slowly; listening to the sound of the night. It was peaceful, relaxing almost. I enjoyed capturing this moment, as it won't be the two of us anymore.

Rocky and I took the chance to chat some more once we were in the car, he seemed ecstatic about the new project he's working on. I felt like pressing for more information as to what he was working on, as I wasn't his student anymore. I was more than that. A partner if you would call it. I didn't press further, I waited for him to openly express his work.

"Ross and I are starting to work on music together." He openly admitted.

"Like a band? You're back in music?" I pried for more.

"I'm not a hundred percent sure, on what's happening." As soon as he ended his sentence, we were pulling into the neighborhood.

"Well, I think its a great idea Rocky. You are so talented, why not show it off." I stated. "Plus, she'll know her daddy is a rockstar." I added.

"Jessica." He paused. "Getting back into music would mean tours, late nights, and so much more. It's a lot of work."

"I know Rocky, so why are you debating on doing it?" I asked. He kept his eyes on the road as we pulled onto our street.

"I don't want to leave you. Especially with the baby coming." He said, looking at me this time. As I stared at him, I noticed his eyes were watery, as if he were concerned above missing out on parts of her life.

Seconds later, we pulled into the driveway; turning the car off. I got out of my seat, meeting Rocky on the other side. He held my hand, walking up to the landing slowly.

He opened the door, opening it wide for me; closing it gently. I sat down in the front foyer chair, taking my heels off; Rocky silently disappearing into our bedroom.

Minutes later, Rocky reappeared into the entryway, "I told you earlier that you were going to get something, now come with me." He demanded in a joking manner. He led me into the living room, as I noticed candles dimly lit and soft piano playing. Glancing around the room, I spotted Ryland playing piano in the corner; playing quite perfectly might I add. I'm assuming Rocky taught him.

As Rocky turned his body around, facing me; bending down. That's when I noticed a sign spelling out, 'Will You Marry Me?' written in Rocky's writing or close too.

To stunned to speak, I just stood there. By now Ryland had slowed the piano playing, letting Rocky focus.

"Rocky..." I spat out.

"Jessica, please." He began. "When I met you I was completely content with being an arrogant asshole, not willing to work on letting people in." He paused, "But you. You showed me what it's like to open bits of myself that I didn't think I could handle. I don't think I can ever thank you enough." He said, quietly.

"Will you marry me?" He asked. I nodded a slow 'yes' as he stood up from his kneeling position, embracing me. Ryland, who I had totally forgotten about had screamed so loud; scaring both Rocky and I.
