ghostly experiences

the zoo's friendly ghost (v)

i was in elementary school it was summer we were on a field trip to the zoo it was about 12:30 i think and we got off the bus and my moms got out of our van

i thought it was going to be a normal field trip but oh boy was i wrong we get to the entrance pay to get in and start to wander around the zoo i immediately opened the map given to us and look for the reptiles after a few seconds i found them and asked my moms if we could go see the reptiles they both agreed to let me see the reptiles (best. day. at. the. zoo.)

so my moms and i started heading towards the reptile enclosures when i got a shiver down my spine i was kinda freaked out but brushed it off as wind and continue to the enclosures i ran to toe lizards because they are my favorites (And always Will be lol) i see this huge lizard and was instantly mesmerized by it im watching the lizard move around when i see a women's refection in the glass that seemed to be behind me i moved over trying to be polite and soon realized no one was there i quickly look at my moms who are sitting on a bench then back into the glass

the women's reflection is still there Of course I'm thinking it's my imagination until the reflection disappeared and soon after I heard the voice of a woman telling me not to be scared and shes nice at this point i was kinda freaked out but knew she meant no harm so i didn't say anything i start to feel cold and ask my moms if we could go look at other animals and they agreed

me and my moms spent the rest of the day looking at animals and i keep seeing the woman's reflection on glass i now think she was watching over me for some reason but at the end of the day i got a lizard toy and was happy the rest of the day i still think about the woman and wonder

"who was she?"

"why was she there?"

"is she ok?"

"why did she follow us?"

"if she was watching over me why?"
