~Back to reality~
"What's your name, girl and how did you get here?"
"I'm a nobody." I seethed at his question, with our eyes connecting. A nobody in search of my path, Captain.
"A nobody, eh? Do you hear that crew, she says she's a nobody!" The crew laughed immensely at his words.
I scoffed, shutting my eyes and remembering even why I was doing this. The Captain's hands went through his coal-black hair, with some loose strands just at his face sides demonically.
"There is no place for a nobody on this ship, girl." he murmured, in my ear.
"It's Frida." I spat at him. "I intend to join your crew, Captain."
A look of disbelief displayed in his dark pupils, which stared at my almond ones, with a warning glare. I swallowed, with the wind bringing a little part of my red hair to fall on my face.
"I don't accept daddy's girls in my crew, little one."
The Captain voiced out, walking away from me. Feeling humiliated, I released my Lycan.
She ripped his men's bulky hands off, with our doubled strength.
"I'm joining your crew, Captain." My eyes flashed black for a minute, but I took it back in instantly. I knew I had to hide my identity.
A look of awe flashed his dark eyes, and so did the crew look amazed. He smirked at me, folding his arms like I was someone to study.
"She's really strong!" One of the crew men gasped. "I would never beat the both of them put together!" Another gasped. The entire deck tensed at the silence that followed after. It was for a moment, yet demeaning.
"Give the girl two pairs of clothing, seems like her strength might come handful."
The Captain surprisingly ordered.
"Yes, Captain!!" They immediately rushed to do as he said. I smiled to myself, knowing I was near to my path.
This ship was sailing to the Kingdom of the Shrekers. And I would penetrate the palace, even though I had to seduce the head, who had something to do with my parent's disappearance.
I was going to find the real truth, behind it all...
I managed to keep up with the Captain who was fast paced in walking. Couldn't use any of my abilities except strength so they didn't suspect me.
"Thanks, for accepting me as part of your crew, eh..." In spite of my trails, he didn't tell me, so I asked. "What's your name?"
"Captain Draco. Draco Ravenwood." he voiced out, staring at me intensely. "Do not think for a second that your place is here. I allowed you to join my crew, because of your strength, nothing else."
"Aye, Captain."
I stopped in my tracks at his dismissiveness.
"Here you go, milady." One of the crew members, offered me the two pairs of clothing he was sent to give me. From his wrinkles, I could tell the man was really experienced with the sea.
"Thanks." I said, with a sullen face.
"Do not be deceived by his uptightness. He's a good man."
"Really?" My brows furrowed at his words.
He nodded, "Yes, milady."
"Couldn't have guessed." I stated. "Where is she sailing to?" I pressed my lips, referring to the ship.
"Our hometown— the Kingdom of the Shrekers." he voiced out. "It's a fine Kingdom, you might find out you'll be very useful there."
The crew member walked away mysteriously after those words. Useful? Did he mean my strength or something else?
