Starting to Move

The next day they both woke up when the nurse came in to check on Taehyung. Jungkook got up from the bed and went to go to the bathroom. The nurse checked all his vitals, and took his bandages all off to check his incision. She put more antibiotic cream on it and then put on the clean bandage. Then she rewrapped the bandages around him for his ribs. Then she checked his ears for any sign of bleeding.
When Jungkook came out of the bathroom, the nurse emptied the drainage bag for his catheter. When the nurse came out of the bathroom she asked, "Mr. Kim on a scale from 1 to 10 how bad is your pain?"  Taehyung answered, "It's about an 8, I hurt everywhere."  The nurse nodded and said, "Okay, I will add some pain medicine to your IV."  The nurse did that and then cleaned up from what all she had done.
The nurse went back over to Taehyung and said, "Everything looks really good Mr. Kim. Dr. Kim has put in orders to remove your IV and catheter this afternoon and get you up and moving a little. So we can see if you can use the bathroom on your own. If all goes well they might send you home tomorrow."  Taehyung started breathing hard, crying, and shaking and he said, "I w-will have t-to go h-home?" Jungkook quickly went to him and wrapped his arms around him and said, "Shh baby, no you are not going to your parents house.  You're coming home with me to our house baby.  You will never have to go back to that house, you live with me now."  Jungkook just held him close and kissed his forehead until he had completely calmed down. 
Taehyung said, "I know w-we had talked about m-me staying with y-you before, but w-when she said home I just p-panicked."  Jungkook said, "I know baby, I figured that was what happened that is why I made sure to remind you that you are coming home with me.  That you have a new home where you will be safe, where nobody will ever hurt you again." 
The nurse felt bad for causing Taehyung to become so upset she felt like she needed to say something so she apologized, "I'm so sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean to upset you Mr. Kim.  I just wanted to give you the good news that you get to leave here.  Dr. Kim is wanting to get you up and moving around to make sure you can be somewhat mobile before discharging you. So we will see what happens this afternoon, Okay?"  Taehyung replied, "It's o-okay it wasn't your f-fault that I g-got upset.  So I-I will see y-you this a-afternoon."
The nurse bowed in response and left the room. 

Before long the breakfast trays were brought in. Jungkook got Taehyung's all set up and got him sitting up straight so he could eat. Then he got his tray too and they ate together.

A couple hours later Dr. Kim came in and checked on Taehyung and asked him some questions about his pain, how he was feeling, if he felt dizzy at all, and how is hearing was. Then he looked in his ears to check for bleeding.
Then he asked Taehyung if the nurse had told him that he wanted him to start getting up and moving around a little. Taehyung told him that she had. Dr. Kim told Jungkook to make sure he is right by Taehyung's side when he starts getting up.  He said that Taehyung shouldn't bend down at all, he shouldn't put weight on his broken ankle, and he may be dizzy because of his ears so he will need stabilizing.  After they talked about it for a bit, Jin left after saying that he would come by and check on them before he left for the day. 

About an hour after lunch the nurse came back and as she entered she said, "Good afternoon Mr. Kim, I'm going to remove all the monitors and your catheter and IV now, are you ready?"  Taehyung answered her, "As r-ready as I'll e-ever be."  The nurse got everything out that she would need and then looked at Jungkook and said, "Sir, can you please step out into the hall while I remove his catheter."  Taehyung right away yelled, "NO!" They both looked at him and Jungkook noticed that he had tears in his eyes. So he went to him and held his hand.  Taehyung pleaded, "P-Please stay, don't l-leave me."  Jungkook said, "Baby, you are gonna be exposed, she has to take that out of your dick.  Are you sure you want me to stay?"  Taehyung nodded his head and said, "P-Please, you can just l-look at my f-face like you d-do when the nurse d-does incision checks. I j-just need you here b-beside me, I need y-you to hold m-my hand."  Jungkook rubbed Taehyung's hair while he responded to him saying, "Okay, Okay, it's okay, calm down baby.  I won't leave, I'm right here."  The nurse smiled at them and then said, "Okay, then I am gonna go ahead and get started." 
She turned off the monitor and unhooked all the leads off of Taehyung.  She said, these stickers that the leads were connected to will probably hurt less to remove when they are wet."  Jungkook said, "I will help him get them off."  Th nurse nodded and then put her gloves on and she pulled up Taehyung's gown and said, "Okay, now this is gonna hurt a little so take in a deep breath and then breathe out slowly." 
She cut the valve and then lifted up his penis and slowly pulled the catheter tube out. Taehyung screamed, "HOLY SHIT, hurt a little my ass!  Is it gonna still work normally?  Jungkook looked totally surprised at what just came out of his baby's mouth.  He snickered a little at his question and the nurse said, "Yes sir, it will work just fine."
Then she wiped off his penis with an anti-bacterial wipe and pulled his gown back down. She wrapped up everything, and threw it out. Then she took off her gloves and threw it all away.
Then she put on a fresh pair of gloves and carefully removed the IV from Taehyung's arm and put some gauze and a bandaid on his arm.  She then took the IV bag and all the tubing and threw it away. Then she said, "Okay, I have to go and take care of a couple more patients.  When I get done with them I will come back in here so we can get you up and moving."  Taehyung said, "O-Okay, see you in a l-little bit." The nurse left the room.
Jungkook sat down beside Taehyung and asked, "Are you okay baby?  I know that had to have hurt.  Is your dick feeling okay now?  Taehyung blushed and answered, "Yes, I-I'm okay.  It's n-not hurting a-anymore."  Jungkook smiled and said, "That's good, now can I hold my baby until the nurse comes back?"  Taehyung nodded yes and Jungkook wrapped his arms around him and pulled him into his chest.
