This is just a cute little fluffy opening drabble I did as a warm up for a larger oneshot. Only thing is, I'm not sharing it because I'm trying my hand at 18+ writing again [because Tumblr has been pretty influential on me, let's be real here] and I'm not sure I want it in this particular book. It's not even done yet anyways, so for now, you're only getting the cute fluffy bit that's got me kicking and screaming because my brainrot with KazuHeiNao/The Polycon hasn't left, so enjoy these three dorks <3333

Title is intentional, this oneshot literally has no name. It's literally in my notes as "O.o"

Kanao let out a soft groan as she turned over on the cot she laid on. The gentle lull and sway as the boat crested choppy waves roused the lavender-haired sailor from her slumber begrudgingly.

'Mmph. Must've fallen asleep as we passed through the storm.' She rolled over and her bleary gaze was met with the kind crimson eyes of Kazuha, who sat upright with his nose deep in his poetry notebook.

"Ah, you're awake, my dove." He flashed a small smile as he closed the book and set both the book and pen down onto the nightstand. "Beidou said we should be back on Ritou within the hour."

Kanao mumbled something unintelligible as she snuggled up closer to Kazuha, her arms wrapping around his waist and her head nestling against his chest.

"Come again?" Kazuha chuckled playfully as he ran a few fingers through her bedraggled hair. "You know I can't hear you when you mumble like that." He teased, as if he was some sort of nagging mother without the overbearing nature of one.

"I really miss Hei." She spoke again with a pout, her voice muffled as she buried her face within the fabric of his haori. She took a deep breath, the scent of earth with a faint hint of maple grounding her.

"I do too," He placed a small kiss on her forehead. "But don't worry. He promised the day we departed that he would meet us at the port when we arrived, right?"

"Yeah, but what if work has him tied up working overtime and he can't? You know how unpredictable the Tenryou Comission is, and how he likes to go off on a whim of intuition...What if he gets caught up and he forgets...."

"Shhh, it's okay, Nao. I'm sure he'll be waiting for us right when we get there." The platinum blonde spoke in a reassuring tone. Though Kanao was still uneasy with her thoughts, she didn't question the notion any more. Kazuha glanced out of the starboard window of their shared room. "Hey, looks like we're almost to port. Let's go to the deck and help out with the docking process."

"Mmmm, tiiiiireeeeed"

Kazuha laughed at her childish whines. "You're such a big baby when you're tired. Fine, I'll carry you." He ruffled her hair as he scooped her up into his arms, carrying her like a mother koala carries her baby. Kanao groaned in protest of being moved, but she lacked the energy to fight back or even react to his teasing words. The ronin practically flew up the fight of stairs with ease, as if he was carrying nothing at all. Kanao once again protested at the sudden and dramatic shift from the dull lighting of the hallway to the harsh dwaining sunlight.

"Hey, there's the sleepyheads!" Beidou called out from helm. Kazuha gave the captain a small wave, shifting Kanao's weight to do so. "Everyone! Assume your posts, we will be docking on Ritou shortly!" She called out in a commanding voice, followed by a chorus of "aye, captain"'s from the sailors.

"I'm gonna drop you if you don't wake up." Kazuha smirked playfully before he slacked his grip just enough to startle her.

"Nooooo- wah!" Kanao yelped at the sudden brief drop of her weight. She flashed Kazuha a narrow-eyed glare and an exaggerated pout. "Okay, fiiiine. I'm up." She stepped onto the wooden boards of the deck and untangled herself from her lover's embrace. "But I'm not happy about it." She made an oh-so-serious "I'm watching you" gesture before she went to go help the crew prepare the belay lines. Kazuha shook his head as he scaled the ladder that lead up to the crows nest. The crew worked diligently to prepare the Alcor for the docking process and within a few minutes the ship slowly pulled into the docking area.

One the ship was close enough to the dock, Kanao scaled the port side of the ship and caught the belay lines tossed to her. She swiftly tied down the lines to their respective cleats and gave the signal to Beidou that ship was securely moored.

Kazuha met Kanao down on the dock with a smile. "See, that wasn't so bad now, was it?" Kanao's face flushed a bright red all the way to the tips of her ears at his words. He chuckled again at her reaction before planting a small peck on her lips. "Come, there's a familiar scent upon the wind." The two intertwined their fingers and waved goodbye to Beidou before they set off down the dock. It didn't take long for them to lock eyes with a familiar redhead standing idly at the entrance to the dock. Kanao's eyes widened as a small gasp escaped her lips. She bolted right towards him with Kazuha in tow. As soon as she was close enough she practically leapt into his arms, nearly tackling him to the ground in the process.

"Did you miss me that badly, my dearest partner?!" Heizou let out a hearty chuckle as he caught the brunt of Kanao's weight in his arms. Kanao ignored the question as she peppered kisses all over Heizou's face. The redheaded detective found it endearing that he could be missed this badly by the loves of his life. "Alright, alright. I think you're making someone else jealous!" He spoke as he set the lavender-haired sailor down and gestured to Kazuha. The wondering ronin couldn't help but chuckle at the scene that unfoldedbefore him.

"Me? Jealous? Never." He said as he planted a kiss on Heizou's lips. "I'm just as glad to see you as she is. I was just waiting for my turn, was all." Heizou matched the smirk on his lips as the two shared a few intimate kisses. After the three finished their loving reunion, Heizou snaked his arms around both of his lover's waists.

"So, how was the journey? I wana hear all about it on our way back home." Both sailors gladly obliged and indulged the detective as they made their way back to their shared home with the sun setting behind them.

And here's where the fluff ends. There is definately more after this, but again, I'm not sure I'm ready to share it here.

But yeah, these three <333333
