Lights... flashing, fading.

Everything felt as if it was in slow motion. A numbness overcame Jack's body. He no longer felt the pain in his back but he assumed that it was a bad thing. His eyes stayed shut as he felt his body shift and twist as if he was a ragdoll. Constant noises faded in and out of his mind.

The constant movement hit a stop as Jack felt his body slump down. Strength evaded him as he struggled to open his eyes. Jack resisted the fatigue and managed to see his situation. His body lay limp on the ground in what looked to be a broken-down bathroom. There were unknown stains and puddles of liquid all over the floor.

The smell of blood and urine attacked his nose making him want to hurl. The lights flickered on and off on the ceiling. Jack looked to his left and found Loona, looking into one of the bathroom mirrors. She looked relatively unharmed. Her face looked pale and her hands looked unsteady. Loona noticed his gaze through the mirror and turned herself to him.

Loona: "Holy shit! You ARE still alive!"

Jack: "*grunt* Y-yeah... Guess I am... *cough* f-fuck!"

He struggled to sit upright but failed as his body gave out. His head landed back down on the floor with a thud. Loona hastily grabbed his head and lifted it upward.

Loona: "Relax. We're safe for now. That fuck face doesn't know where we-."

Her sentence was interrupted by a painful cough in Jack's mouth. The combination of pain and the horrible smell eliminating from the bathroom was making him severely nauseous. Loona quickly set his head down and grabbed the rest of the bandages she had from the medkit.

Loona: "Hadn't had enough time to fix you up since that bastard started chasing us."

She enrolled the rest of the bandage and was getting ready to move his jacket aside when Jack stopped her. A question has been itching inside his brain and now was the time he would ask it.

Jack: "W-why... d-did you carry me *grunt*? You could've just... left me. "

Loona"... Well... let's just say if anyone from hell or heaven knew a human was here, we'd be in for a lot more trouble than this. That screwed-up angel is nothing compared to the real deal angels."

She lightly grabbed Jack's shoulder and moved him slightly to the side. The bandages were carefully wrapped around his back and shoulder to cover the wound. Jack couldn't help but have a small smile as she fixed him up. She noticed and had an uncertain look on her face.

Loona: "What are you smiling about? You should be in serious pain right now."

Jack: "Oh believe m-me *grunt* it's excruciating. I... j-just think what you d-did back there was... really... badass."

A second of silence passed by as neither said a word. For once, the silence seemed louder than ever. The answer left Loona speechless. There was even a slight blush on her cheeks that Jack didn't seem to notice. She finished up tying the bandage and let Jack lay back down on his side. She stood up and brushed herself off. Jack showed signs of weakness as he was slurring his words and speaking less, yet he still tried to tell Loona something.

Jack: "Thanks... f-for saving... me... a-agai-..."

His eyes shut and his breathing slowed down. Jack had passed out and was snoring quietly. Loona couldn't help but look over him with a slight blush on her cheeks.
