He's Jealous

a/n: I have nothing against Steve just had to make him kinda bad for this oneshot

Y/n has training when something goes wrong

Y/n-

It's 5 am and I have to go to training. Who on their right mind would want to train at 5 am, not me. But Steve does so now I have to as well. I try my best not to wake up my girlfriend Natasha who is sleeping peacefully next to me since her training isn't this early. I swear Steve hates me, probably because I pulled the girl he couldn't. 

I get up and get dressed into my training clothes. I then go downstairs, grab my water bottle and go into the training room where I'm greeted by a frowning Steve. "What took you so long?" he asks me. 

"Its 5.07 am Steve, not 6 no need to be dramatic." I tell him and he just rolls his eyes at me. 

We start the training by warming up and stretching. Steve then moves on to the punching bag and I work on using my powers. After over an hour more people start coming into the room. First Tony and Rhodey came followed by Clint and Natasha. When I see Nat coming in I quickly go to her to give her a kiss. 

"Good morning detka" she says while she pecks my lips and I hug her.

"Good morning Natty" I say smiling.

"Get a room you two" yells Clint and the others laugh too, but Steve doesn't. We then go to separate corners to continue training.

I decide to ask Steve if something is wrong, since he seems a bit off today. But he just ignores me, so I stop talking to him. 

After 15 more minutes of training it's time for one on one fights. In these we can't use our special abilities or powers so it's just up to our strength. Of course we don't go too far, if someone falls to the floor or is tired the other one must stop. 

First Tony and Rhodey are up and after a few minutes Tony is down.

Then it's Nat and Clint's turn. Even though these fights are friendly I still get a bit nervous someone is going to get hurt. Once again after a few minutes Clint is down and it's me and Steve's turn.

When I get into the ring Nat leans in and whispers "you'll get him"" in my ear while she kisses me. This is my first time fighting with Steve so I'm a bit nervous since his whole thing is strength. But nobody got hurt before so what is the worst that could happen?

Steve looks very angry when he tries to throw the first punch but he misses. There definitely is something wrong with him, he's usually much more friendly. Right as I'm about to kick him he takes my leg, pulls it up and yeets on the floor on my back. Right as I land I can feel my whole body starting from my back sting. Normally Steve should have stopped but he didn't, he started to mumble I stole his girlfriend and just as he was about to kick me one more time, Nat and Tony stopped him. Tony tried to calm him down while Natasha came running to me. I didn't understand why Steve would do this, Nat and I had been dating for 1,5 years now, so it wasn't news to anyone. I was still laying on the ground because my back hurt and I was pretty shocked, when Natasha rushed over.

"Are you okay Y/n/n" 

"I'm sure it's fine, my back just hurts a little"

"Okay let's just get you up and to our room" she says just as she effortlessly picks me up and tries her best not to hurt my back. As we walk out the training room I can hear Tony shouting at Steve. I guess I was right about there being something wrong with Steve. 

Very soon we enter the room and Nat gently places me on our bed. "Does your back still hurt honey?" she asks and I just nod. 

"Can I take off your shirt?" 

"Yes"

She slowly lifts up my shirt and asks me to turn my back to her so she can take a closer look. When I do she lightly gasps, "I'm going to kill him" she mumbles. "What, is it that bad?" I ask hoping she's exaggerating.  I try to turn my head around to take a look and am met with my now  red/purple back. I throw my head back onto my pillow and just sigh as Nat starts talking.

"Okay my love everything's going to be alright and I'm gonna take care of you. We just need some relieving cream and ice." she says trying to comfort me while soothingly rubbing my hand. 

"Jarvis can you ask Wanda to bring us some cream and ice please?" asks Nat to Jarvis not wanting to leave my side. 

"Of course, Ms. Romanoff" replies the AI. 

Not after a minute later there's a knock at the door and Wanda slowly peaks her head inside. 

Nat slowly nods her head at her signaling that she can come in and Wanda walks in with ice and the cream Nat asked her to bring.  Nat takes them from Wanda's hand and thanks her. 

Wanda was like a sister to you so when she heard about what happened (she wasn't at the training) she was beyond angry and knocked Steve out as Tony couldn't stop her either. 

After Nat thanked her she smiled, placed a kiss on my forehead and left the room leaving me and Nat alone once again. 

Nat sits next to me and starts icing my back, after a few minutes she puts the ice away and opens the cream bottle. 

"This might sting a tiny bit sweetheart." she says gently.

"That's okay." I respond thankful that I have someone caring for me. 

She starts applying the cream and I lightly gasp as the cold material  comes to contact with my skin.

"Sorry" mumbles Nat trying to be as gentle as possible. 

She then continues to apply the cream until the whole bruised area is covered. Afterwards she lays down next to me and takes me into her arms without hurting my back. 

"Thank you for taking care of me, you're the best." I say getting comfortable in her arms. 

"You're the most important person to me detka I love you." 

"I love you too, sweetheart." I respond 

Soon after we just drift to sleep peacefully being content in each others arms.
