As Iris sat there next to her aunt, she couldn't imagine her life getting any worse. Just the other day she was lounging on her king sized bed, watching reality TV on her enormous flat screen, while ordering her butler to get her more grapes. She was enjoying her casual Saturday, when all of a sudden her parents decided to ship her away to live with her Aunt Isabelle in Forks, Washington. It wasn't fair! She would have to spend the remainder of her eighth grade year living in a dingy cabin and going to a public school like a commoner. She pulled out her favorite book, and tried to get herself lost in a good mystery.
"You're going to have so much fun Iris!" My Aunt Isabelle chirped. "I set up a room for you, and I already signed you up to go to a school nearby. You're gonna make so many new friends, you won't even want to leave."
Isabelle was too cheery for Iris, and she just wanted to be left alone in silence for a while. She closed her book in annoyance and looked out the car window to watch the trees zoom by. Even though she thought that nature was disgusting, and always ruining her expensive outfits, she had to admit that the view was quite beautiful. The trees were strong and tall, and the leaves were so thick, you couldn't see through them. Except for the occasional sunlight that would shine through the thinner leaves, making the forest look almost magical. For a split second, Iris thought she saw something staring at them in the trees as we whizzed by. Iris rubbed her eyes and decided that it was just a wild animal. Either that, or she was going mad from this sudden change in her life.
"Are we almost there?" Iris grumbled.
"Actually, we should be pulling up right about now." Isabelle said as she turned into a driveway leading to a There was a small pathway through the shrubbery that led to a covered porch. It had two scanty chairs on one side of the door, and a wooden bench on the other.
"Ah, home sweet shack. I'll get your thousands of bags while you go explore the house if you want." Isabelle said.Iris huffed as she got out of the drab, old, Ford Bronco, and prepared herself for the worst months of her life.
After surveying the dull cottage, and properly decorating her room upstairs as Isabelle fumbled to bring all seventeen of Iris's bags up the stairs, Iris decided to go into the woods and read.

Fantasy(This started as an assignment for English class, but I kind of liked it so I thought, "Why the hell not. Let's put it on Wattpad." First of all, it started off as a Twilight parody, so the idea of Vampires in Forks, Washington doesn't belong to me...
