After the anniversary ended, Sukma's TB condition began to worsen; coughing up blood, shortness of breath, and a pale limp body became Sukma's new conditions recently, and a doctor was immediately called. After checking, the doctor gave his opinion about Sukma's condition. His condition worsened and he needed surgery immediately, but it required quite expensive funds. Hearing the news, they seemed desperate, but not with Luis. Luis immediately asked the caregiver whether the orphanage could help Sukma. However, they desperately admitted that they did not have sufficient funds to treat Sukma. Luis felt angry and disappointed. That night, Luis locked himself in his room and cried, praying if there was another way. Luis immediately remembered the old beggar on the roadside. He thought maybe he could raise funds with donations to help Sukma.
The next day, Luis gave an announcement to all members of the orphanage about his plan to donate, and they agreed to help. They divided the group to spread out in the city carrying small boxes with the words "Donate for our friend who suffers from tuberculosis." They bonded in droves and scattered for fundraising; the caregivers did not want to be outdone by spreading it through the internet and spreading it to various sites. Knowing this, Sukma also wanted to help, but Luis didn't allow it. Sukma cried and insisted he wanted to help; with persistence, Sukma Luis allowed him, but he had to be side by side with Luis. Two days have passed, but the donations are not sufficient for operating expenses. Luis and Sukma persistently go to the next town; they are still unfamiliar with the environment and the location of the road; they go around and only get quite a bit. Luis confidently went to a successful company that happened to be in the next town. Luis also asked to make a donation for Sukma's TB disease, and the surgery schedule was tomorrow. They left the company and celebrated. At the crossroads and waiting to cross, the light is green for pedestrians, and they cross. When Sukma was crossing, Sukma's wheelchair jammed, and from the opposite direction, a speeding truck came. Luis, without thinking, pushed Sukma's wheelchair hard until it fell, but unlucky for him, when Luis was about to run, the pedestrian lights turned red again. Luis gave Sukma and the truck a final smile by speeding over Luis and still driving for 1 km. Sukma was immediately shocked and fainted. The former incident was handled by the police. Luis was immediately taken by ambulance and rushed to the hospital, but his life was not saved.
The day of Sukma's operation arrived. The operation ran for 5 hours; it went smoothly and was successful. After the operation, Sukma is seriously depressed. The bad boy Dicky awkwardly approaches Sukma and tries to comfort him, but the effort is in vain. Dicky continued to entertain Sukma until a week had passed. Dicky disgustedly told Sukma that it was very disappointing. He recounted Luis' struggle and how Luis was persistent in helping him. Dicky loudly said, "Are you going to waste Luis' sacrifice by behaving like this?" "If you continue like this, Luis will be disappointed with you." After hearing Dicky's words, Sukma immediately realized this and cried loudly. Dicky tightly hugged him and told him about Luis, saying that Luis is a hero, Sukma's true hero, because he sacrificed his life for the people he cares about. After that, the two of them became close, and Dicky became Luis's replacement.
