School Store

---

"Ooh, this pack of popcorn looks good," Izuku grinned, holding the pack in his hand and tossing it in the air. He was ignored, of course, but he didn't especially care. Humming as he went to the counter, he was suddenly held by two pairs of strong arms.

"H-Hey, what are y-" he started, panicking. The arms just held him even tighter, making him too scared to say anything.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?" Mina shouted as she ran over. Izuku looked up to see who it was – none other than Eijiro Kirishima and Hanta Sero.

"Oh, you don't need to know, pretty lady," Sero sneered. Mina glared at him, and Kaminari staggered over. Everyone in the store was now looking, some concerned, and some excited.

"Tsk," Kirishima smiled. He then whispered in Izuku's ear, "You won't need that pack of popcorn anymore... Did you really think us boys wouldn't do something to the classroom?"

Izuku was suddenly flipped around, his knees slamming onto the hard ground, making him almost shout in pain, but he kept quiet. Kirishima and Sero pulled his arms up higher, forcing him to look up.

In walked – or rather limped – in a tall, strong male – spiky ash blonde hair, piercing red eyes, a loose school jacket with a black and red shirt crumpled up inside. He was holding silver crutches, with bandages wrapping up the side of his head, a bruise on his cheekbone, a few cuts on his body, and a bloodied cast on his leg.

"Bring him in."

Izuku woke up, trembling, as his vision slightly blurred. He shakily sat up, and the first thing that met his eyes were scattered photos of Todoroki and his role model, All Might. His eyes widened at the sight, as he never remembered leaving those around. Then he noticed a black shoe behind all the photos, then a casted leg, up to a white school uniform being slightly torn apart and up to the bruised, smirking face of Katsuki Bakugo.

Izuku's eyes widened and a frightened squeak escaped his lips. He scrambled up, shaking his head violently and tried to back away on his knees. Katsuki frowned and kicked his unharmed leg under the table, making Izuku freeze.

Katsuki stood up – he was now much taller than Izuku since Izuku was sitting – and glared down at Izuku, smiling and glaring at the same time. Izuku trembled even harder and put his arms around his legs while he looked up.

"So, you're the one who put that letter in my drawer, huh?" Katsuki asked in a threatening voice. Izuku let go of his knees and tried to edge further back, but Katsuki's glare told him otherwise. Izuku nodded slightly before shutting his eyes tight, expecting any kind of violent movement thrown at him.

"No idea what it would cause me, did you?" Katsuki asked again, in a slightly softer tone now. Izuku opened his eyes slowly and made eye contact with Katsuki again, but then avoiding his eyes after a few seconds.

"No," Izuku said quietly. "I-I d-didn't."

He heard Katsuki tsk, and almost heard a slight groan of pain. Katsuki slumped back into his chair and glared again.

"Fuck, it hurts," Katsuki whispered as he slapped his leg then winced. Izuku stared, dumbfounded. The taller male looked back at Izuku and scowled, making Izuku look down.

"What's your name, dumbass?" Katsuki asked in a growling tone. Izuku looked up again hopefully.

"I-Izuku Midoriya," he said, trying to force a welcoming smile. Katsuki nodded. His eyes flew to Izuku's chest, where his name was printed on his school uniform.

"And why was these lot of ugly pictures in your backpack?" Katsuki asked. Izuku's eyes widened, as he grew slightly angry.

"You went through my backpack?" Izuku demanded. Katsuki raised his eyebrows, making Izuku's tone quiet down.

"We did. Answer the goddamn question," Katsuki growled.

"A-All Might h-has always b-been my i-idol," Izuku stammered as he stared at the All Might pictures. His eyes moved to the pictures of Todoroki, and a slight warmth came to his cheeks. "And Sh-Shoto..."

"Really?" Katsuki rolled his eyes and spat. He then whispered under his breath, "Such a deku."

"I'm not useless," Izuku said loudly. Katsuki looked at him again, and Izuku immediately regretted his decision.

"Yes you are," Katsuki said. "Deku. Fits you so much."

Izuku sighed helplessly. He then remembered he was probably here for a punishment, or revenge. He put his hands up in surrender.

"Okay, now what do you really want me here for?" Izuku asked, getting slightly comfortable with the environment. Katsuki smiled – rather smirked – and stood up, bending his hurt leg significantly this time so it didn't hurt. He limped (tried to do it as if he was walking normally) out from behind the table and inched towards Izuku. Terrified, Izuku stepped back towards the wall. Katsuki didn't stop.

Izuku found himself against the wall, with nowhere to continue backing into. Katsuki pushed an uninjured arm against Izuku's neck, making him not be able to breathe properly. Izuku choked, but Katsuki didn't seem to care.

"Since you're so daring~" Katsuki spat the last word while narrowing his eyes. He moved his face close to Izuku's, making the warm feeling in Izuku's cheeks whenever he saw Todoroki bloom. Katsuki moved his face back to prevent both of them from feeling uncomfortable, "to curse me..."

Katsuki moved his arm back so Izuku's neck was released. Izuku gasped from the former lack of air and fell down from the wall. Katsuki caught Izuku's shirt and pulled him back up against the wall before continuing in a menacing voice:

"Why don't we be friends?"

"F-Friends-?" Izuku stammered. Katsuki nodded, his piercing red eyes glinting with a murderous atmosphere.

"Friends help each other, don't they?" Katsuki smiled a threatening smile. His face contorted back to his usual serious one before he scowled. "Answer me, you damn nerd."

Izuku nodded, too timid to disagree. Katsuki let go of Izuku, letting him slide down from the wall, and smiled down at him.

"Well then. Let's start from the day I heal."
