Narrator's POV:

“LIFE is fucked up, isn't it?” Tate asked Lila, kind of asking himself.

“It is, it kills the people it chooses in the worst times. It's the worst.” Lila blew out her last puff of her cigarette as she puts it out, Tate watches before he does the same. Her now leaning against the window.

“the worst part is, I haven't gotten my first kiss yet.” Lila chuckles dryly before her face turns into a state of shock, finding Tate's lips now with hers as she gives in and kisses him back. As the long passionate kiss ends, awkwardness somehow follows.

“At least you have experience now.” Tate smiles as they both laugh, the both making eye contact as they kiss once more.

“I thought I liked Violet, well I guess I actually like you.” Lila only nods softly, as if understanding that she fell in love. But deep in her mind, she's confused to which she doesn't understand.

“Why me? Is it the combat boots? The fishnets? The hair? The band tees?”

“Everything about you.” Lila did some thinking, I mean liking the boots and all is reasonable, she nods softly before sitting down on her bed balnkly.

“You shouldn't, I'm a piece of shit. I even killed myself. You say the world's a shitty mess, and you're right anyway.” Tate only laughs at the remark, the both of them kissing once more. (Y'all know what happened)

Lila's POV:

Stupid. I'm seriously the most stupid person ever for this, at least my stupidity did me a good deed. Call me a hoe I don't care at least I had a chance with him.

“What are you thinking about?” Tate suddenly asks me.

“You.” I simply reply, god his eyes are beautiful. Oh shit is he gonna kiss me again? Oh wait nevermind it's just a forehead kiss, still a good one though.

“It's a surprise we didn't get caught.” Tate smiled before looking at me.

“Aren't we ghosts?” I reply then silence followed, laughter followed next.
