Eyes On You (Kokushibo x Reader)

You were cradled in Michikatsu's arms. He lovingly stroked your hair while smiling down at you.

He suddenly looked into your eyes, a blush forming on his cheeks.

"Your eyes are so beautiful, Y/N." He said.

"Thank you." You said, giving him a shy smile.

You both stared at eachother for a while, until Michikatsu slowly began leaning forward.

You knew what was coming next.

You raised your head, and closed your eyes. Allowing your lips to meet.

"Mmh..." You heard Michikatsu murmur.

You both parted from the kiss.

"My brother said he will visit us today." Michikatsu said.

"Really? You haven't seen eachother in a while. How are things between you both?" You asked.

Michikatsu looked at the sword that was hung on the wall.

"Fine." He said, looking back down at you.

You could see a hint of sadness lingering in his tone and expression.

You wanted to ask him if he was alright, but was stopped when Michikatsu decided to immediately hug you.

"I'm sorry Y/N. I'm sorry!" He cried.

"What happened?! Why are you apologising?" You said.

"I don't know...it's just..."

Michikatsu went silent.

You were both startled by the sudden knock on the door.

"That must be Yoriichi. I'll open the door." You said.

You walked towards the door and opened it.

Instead of being greeted by Yoriichi, you were greeted by a total stranger instead.

"Oh, hello. Is Michikatsu present?" He said, looking down.

The man's voice was cold and he had a threatening aura. You felt uneasy.

"Y-yes, he's here. But who are you?" You managed to say.

The man looked up. His piercing red eyes met with yours. You felt a chill run down your body.

"You don't need to know who I am. That's not your problem." He said.

Michikatsu immediately ran towards the door and stood next to you, facing the stranger outside.

The stranger was happy to see Michikatsu.

"I thought you said you wouldn't come today. I was supposed to meet my brother." Michikatsu said.

The stranger gave him a sharp look.

"I don't like waiting." He said.

"Michikatsu, who is this man?!" You yelled.

"Don't worry about it, dear. He's just someone I'm doing business with." Michikatsu said, patting your head.

"Is this annoying woman your wife?" The stranger said.

Both you and Michikatsu looked at the stranger in pure shock and disgust.

"Don't you dare call her annoying." Michikatsu said, in a cold tone.

"What are you going to do about it? Are you forgetting who I am?" The stranger said.

He looked at you, and put his hand on your chin.

"I'm the King of Demons. Remember that." He said.

The man looked at Michikatsu, then back at you.

Before he could do anything else, Michikatsu immediately grabbed the stranger's arm and pulled it away.

"Y/N, run." Michikatsu said.

"Good. Let her run away. She's interrupting us." The stranger said.

You looked at him with tears in your eyes.

"RUN!!!" Michikatsu yelled.

You didn't want to listen to him, but you did anyways.

You ran so far away, you didn't even know where you were.

You paused, taking a moment to catch your breath.

You realised that you're in a forest. You begin to walk forward.

The sound of a scream suddenly scares you. You look to the right and see a demon holding a human's head.

Completely terrified, you begin to run again.

Unfortunately, since you were so busy on getting away from the demon, you didn't notice the surroundings. You fall down a large hill.

All you could remember before passing out was slamming your head against a large rock.
