We see Team RWAY in the amity arena battle a team from another kingdom, with a crowd of people watching them.
People are cheering for either Team RWAY or the other team.

Team RWAY and the opposing team are battling while the professors are explains how the tournament works.

Age or school are irrelevant, in this tournament the only attribute being tested, is skill.
Professor Port: Correct, the winners of this battle will elected two of there members to represent them in the doubles round follow ls by the winners of that round choosing one member to advance once again.
The remaining combatants will fight there way to the final bracket in the hopes of victory for there kingdom.
Professor Oobleck: And yes Port, there are certainly are some spectacular specials to spectaculate on and I don't think anyone tuning in around the world is gonna disagree on me, on that.
Professor Port: Ahh and why would they.
Now! Let's get back to the match of Team RWAY of Beacon and team ADRN of Haven.
We then see the battle between team RWAY and ADRN.
Ava is fighting against a girl with a hover board that she fights with.
Ava tris to hit the girl with her sword but the hover girl blocks it with her hover board.
The girl then jumps onto her hover board and going straight towards the bull Faunus but when the girl jump with her hover board, Ava slash the board.
The board then becomes two guns with blades.
She starts shoot at Ava but drops them when she painfully lands on her butt.
Ava did the same reaction as the coward did, when they saw the girl land painfully on her butt.
Yang is fighting against another girl but this time Yang opponent is a hand to hand combat fighter.
The opponent facing Weiss got his feet stuck in ice because of Ruby and Weiss saved Ruby from the other boy who uses a staff.
Ruby and Weiss are fighting against the boy while Ava and Yang fight the two other girls in team ADRN.
Then hover girl get some fire dust from her teammate and put in her hover board and went over and freed her teammate who was stuck in ice.
Hover girl and Ava attack each other and dodge each others attacks.
Ava use her gun to slide across the ice and went behind the ice and hid.
When hover girl came, Ava came out behind her in a sudden speed and kicked the hover girl out of the arena, making the hover girl eliminated.
Ava then see that weiss put the males of ADRN team in a ball of ice and rolling around.
