The diary said:"Today was good dad only hit me 5 times" she couldn't believe what she was reading the perfect jock guy was actually being abused? Should she tell him she read it? She ran into the locker room and grabbed him by the hand and pulled him out. "What did you need?" He asked "we need to talk" she said concerned. "Okay" he said looking down "I read your journal" she blurted out. His eyes widened "please don't tell anyone" he said begging her. "I'm so sorry about your Dad-" she started "don't worry about it I'm fine" he said cutting her off."Should I call to report it?" She said " no my dad would kill me" he said worried "literally" he added softly. David went back to the locker room while Ariana back to sitting next to her rival isa. "Hi" she said trying to play nice for David "hey" she said just as friendly back. "How have you been since we've last talked?" Ariana asked with a smile. "Good we should exchange numbers so we can get together again" Isa said "sure" Ariana said thinking "maybe she's changed". Towards the end of practice as the players headed into the locker room the exchanged numbers. As Ariana saw David come up to the stands she walked towards him when they both met David said "let's get some nachos". They walked to the concession stand to get some they ate on the car when they both reached for a nacho their hands met they both looked up and into each other's eyes they stayed that way until David leaned in... "HEY" said a loud voice that stopped David from leaning in any further. "Oh boy" they both thought here comes Logan looking mad with a crowbar in his hand. He ran towards Ariana about to attacking her she ran behind David he stood tall defending her. "If I were you I'd get out of here now I'm gonna count to 3" David said In a voice Ariana had never heard before.Logan swung at David but David ducked and swung at Logan and hit him straight in the nose."I'm gonna get you" Logan said running and nearly getting run over by a truck that was pooling into the school parking lot. "Get out" David said to Ariana "it's my dad" he added "no I'm staying" she said. "What are you doing here so late" his dad said struggling to get out the truck he was clearly drunk. "He grabbed Ariana by the wrist and said who are you David pushed his Dad off her and said "my girlfriend". Ariana blushed "he'd done it again" she thought happily. His dad smiled and slapped David then punched and kicked Ariana David was furious he was in the moment all David could hear was "David don't" was all he heard Ariana said but it was too late he did it....
