The next morning was the wedding of Prince Emmet and the fair maiden Marie.

The kingdom was joyful in knowing they would have a new king and princess. After years of waiting for the perfect day.

Marie and her animal friends stayed up all night working on her gorgeous, poofy, white and pink wedding dress. So, she was more than ready to walk down the aisle.

Her carriage pulled up to the front of the castle, and though annoyed, Ice Cream Cone opened the door for her.

"My lady..." He greeted her coldly.

All of the animals exited first, then Marie stepped out, adjusting her wedding dress. She had a slightly worried expression on her face.

"Am I late? Oh, I hope I'm not late."
"No, you're just on time. The prince is waiting for you. He's rather excited."

"I'm so glad!" Marie ran forward, heading up the stairs of the palace.

"Wait! We're not done with you yet!" Planty called out, "Guys, finish her up!"

A couple of squirrels tied a sparkling ribbon around her waist, and two birds placed a tiara on her head.

She waved at them, showing a bright smile.
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome, Marie!"

Finally, she walked through the palace gates, and Ice Cream Cone ran in front of the animals, stopping them from going in.

"I'm sorry, the queen doesn't appreciate any furry visitors."

With that said, he shut the door on them. It left all of them disappointed.

"He can't close the door on us! I'll find a different way." Planty said.

Marie was filled with excitement as she ran across the garden bridge. Ice Cream Cone followed close behind her.

"Can you believe it?! Emmet and I are getting married! He and I! Him and me! We!"

"Yes, yes. It's quite...exciting."

"Today is the best day of my life! I can't believe I'm-"

Suddenly, a hooded figure emerged from the nearby bushes. Marie jumped back, incredibly
startled.

"Oh my!"

The figure appeared to be an older lady alien, and a shape Marie had never seen before. As if she was made out of only bricks and nothing more.

"My, what a lovely bride!" The alien spoke.
"Oh, that's very kind of you. Im sorry, I must-"

Marie attempted to walk past her, but she stopped her from going any further.

"No, no! You see, I'm one of the citizens of this kingdom. We've been waiting for a princess for so long! I must give you a wedding gift. On behalf of the entire kingdom."

"Thank you, but I really must be going. I mustn't be late. The prince is waiting for me." Marie walked past the alien, "After the ceremony would be perfect."

The old lady grabbed her wrist, stopping her once again. Marie looked towards her, noticing her arm was made up of small bricks.

She definitely wasn't like anything she'd ever seen before.

"Spare a moment please, my dear." She pulled Marie along with her, "It's a wishing well!"

"But all my wishes are about to come true." Marie replied.

The alien did not listen to her, and continued pulling her along.

They walked forward into the garden, passing by many rose bushes and topiaries. Until eventually, a large well, with a glowing blue waterfall came into view.
