Jimmy woke up to the sound of droplets hitting the window of his room. He groaned in annoyance as he realized that it was gonna rain today, Mondays are the worst in his opinion, especially with rain. Jimmy sat up, yawning before he glanced over at the clock sitting on the bedside table. 7:18. He got up and walked over to the wardrobe to change. Jimmy changed clothes before walking downstairs. He noticed that his sister was on the phone, she looked furious. Jimmy walked into the kitchen when he heard loud yelling from his sister, Jimmy figured she was talking to their parents about how much pressure they put on her, and Jimmy felt sympathy for her. He popped two slices of bread into the toaster, one for himself and one for his sister when she was done 'talking' to their parents. Jimmy's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the toasts being done.

Lizzie barged into the kitchen, a furious expression on her face as she sat down on a chair. "Are you okay, Lizzie?" Jimmy asked her, "sometimes I swear to god that our parents just don't take any responsibility for their actions," she responded. "I made some toasts, do you want one?" Jimmy asked her, and she nodded. Jimmy buttered the slices of bread and gave one to Lizzie. "Any idea when it's gonna stop raining?" Jimmy asked her when he was done chewing, "it said sometime around 7 pm, better bring a jacket if you don't wanna get sick," she responded when she was done chewing another piece. They finished eating and got ready to go to school. Jimmy put on his raincoat and grabbed his backpack, Lizzie was already by the front door waiting for him.

Scott was searching all over the house for his raincoat, but he couldn't find it. He gave up after a while when he realized it was gone. Scott just had to believe that maybe Jacob would give him his jacket, but the chances are slim. Scott put on his shoes. He was wearing a teal-colored hoodie with black jeans. Scott basically ran to school, when he arrived and went inside he was hit by the warmth. He spotted Jacob only a couple of meters away from him, he walked over to Jacob who was scrolling through his phone, looking unbothered. "Hey, babe," Scott greeted him, Jacob looked up from his phone, "why aren't you wearing a coat?" Jacob asked with a questioning expression. "I lost it, could I perhaps borrow yours? Just for the day, then you can have it back, I promise," Scott responded, "you promise?" Jacob asked, "promise," Scott repeated, Jacob smiled at him, "no, it's your fucking fault," he quietly told Scott, Scott knew better than to comment. "Okay, whatever," Scott said as he walked away, he saw that he wasn't the only one, most people didn't have a raincoat with them. Scott was a little bit mad that Jacob couldn't even feel fucking generous and let Scott loan his jacket, he pushed the anger down, and let out a sigh. He looked around and spotted Jimmy by his locker, with, what was her name again..? Ah, Lizzie! Scott moved towards them, "oh, hi Scott!" Jimmy said to Scott with a smile on his face, "hey, Jimmy," Scott answered, smiling at Jimmy back. "Well, I gotta go to class, so see you guys later," Lizzie told them before leaving. "Why aren't you wearing a coat? It's like pouring down out there," Jimmy asked Scott, with a concerned expression, "yeah, so I searched all over my house but I couldn't find mine, let alone one," Scott responded, "oh, well, here!" Jimmy said with an easy smile as he took off his jacket and handed it to Scott, "Oh, no, it's okay," Scott said, chuckling a bit. "No, no, take it, you need it more than me," Jimmy said, Scott wasn't sure about this, but he took it from Jimmy's hands anyway, "thanks," Scott said, "no problem, you can keep it, I have a bunch of raincoats at home anyway," Scott was a little shocked at Jimmy's words, it made a very light tinted blush appear on his face. "Thank you so much, Jim," Scott said with a warm smile, Jimmy gave him a big smile. "Can I call you Jim?" Scott asked, "Of course, you can call me anything," Jimmy responded. "You should put the coat in your locker so we can go to class," Jimmy told Scott.
