''Oh my god. Why are you still here?'' Jimin hits Taehyund's head like he is not fucking 35 years old.

''Can you cut it off? We're not teenegers anymore.'' Taehyung spats while rubbing his head.

''I know, idiot. Why are you not prepared for your date, again? Your mom is going to literally kill you. Not to mention you're gonna die alone and i'm gonna have to rescue your corpse from the one thousand cats that you're gonna adopt.''

''Really? A single cat lady metaphor? Such a cliche Chimmy.'' Taehyung says while rolling his eyes at his best friend.

'Maybe.'' Jimin shrugs and stares at Taehyung, letting him know that his attempt at dodging the question is not working, he is waiting for an answer.

Taehyund is not sure if he can word his feelings. He was feeling suffocated for the past six months. He ditched a lot of dates with suitable omegas, which his parents gave him a really hard time for.

He knows that it is incredibly rude for an alpha to ditch kind and dainty omegas left and right. But he can't help it. He doesn't want to get married. Not yet. Not when his mind is occupied with a certain omega he left at Paris. Jimin obviously knows some part of this suffocation that he's been facing for a few months now but none of his friends knows that Taehyung literally stalks the omega daily.

Okay, maybe stalking is not the right word for it but Taehyung can't help but feel like a stalker. After their meeting, Taehyung and his lawyer improved the deal. They increase Jungkook's monthly allowance and provide him with some gifts along with the limitless credit card. The card that Taehyung desperately thinks is a work of the devil himself. Oh, a mere credit card was enough to ruin Taehyung's life and his dreams for the past six months.

He didn't have the guts to join the second meeting with omega. Even if he did, Jungkook made it really clear that he only wanted to see the lawyer and not Taehyung, not his soulmate. Taehyung is not stupid enough to blame the boy for his attitude. He learned every single detail of the meeting from his lawyer. Apparently Jungkook was satisfied with the improvements of the deal. But he was very heartbroken to hear that the boy wept when he signed the contract. It's safe to say that Taehyung literally hated himself for the few following weeks.

He just waited for this ridiculous soulmate effect to fade away. It was clearly just the bond's effect on him. He was being unreasonable. He was catching himself thinking about the boy constantly. But it was obviously gonna pass when the time came. He was not gonna see Jungkook again so this effect won't find him anymore. It'll be okay. That's what he kept telling himself.
After he turned back to Seoul, it felt like it was right too. For a week or two Taehyung was only thinking about Jungkook occasionally and he really believed that even that's gonna fade away with time. Until he realized a mail in his inbox one day. It was the list of Jungkook's credit card bill. He shouldn't, he knows he shouldn't but he couldn't resist it. He just opened the mail, it was so easy to give in. All of Jungkook's first month expenses and all the things he spends his money on were listed in the mail.

Taehyung was rich all his life, he was borned into a wealthy home and after he took his dad's place he even made their company more successful. Something that he was very proud of actually. Still even for someone like Taehyung, the bill that Jungkook created for a mere month was impressive. Jungkook really impressed him. Nevertheless Taehyung didn't care that much. He was the one who gave the card to Omega anyway. Jungkook has every right to spend whatever he wants. That was the deal.

And the boy was doing his part too. Taehyung's team was so worried for Jungkook to contact them again. or even talk with the media or in social media and stuff like that. They kept an eye on the omega from time to time. But Jungkook never gave them a thing to worry about. He kept his promise. He lived his life like he never even heard Taehyung's name. So they stopped monitoring him. When they were keeping an eye on the omega Taehyung was vaguely able to know what was the omega doing with his life, now that it stops he had no clue. Not that Taehyung cares obviously.
