And so Lily trained Rose. Her and Pedro got married. Lily was just as protective as Ahsoka had been. Rose often had nightmares. When she had nightmares, Lily came in and sang a song to her. One day, there was a knock on the door. Lily looked at Pedro who took Rose into the bedroom and closed the bedroom door and locked it. Then Lily walked over to the door and opened the door. Anakin said: "Hi. Can I come in?" Lily smiled and said: "Of course. For For a second I thought you were someone else." Then Anakin came in and shut the door behind him. Then Lily walked over to the bedroom and unlocked the door using the Force and opened the bedroom door. She said: "It's okay. It's just Anakin." Pedro said: "Rose is dead to the world right now." Lily smiled and said: "Here. Hand her to me." Pedro handed Rose over to Lily. Lily wrapped Rose's legs around her waist and her arms around her neck. Rose subconsciously laid her head on Lily's shoulder and was sucking her thumb in her sleep. Then Lily chuckled softly and said: "Kiddo, you're getting heavy. Thank the Force my Master trained me hard-core." She placed one hand on her back and the other hand on the back of her head and walked out of the bedroom into the living room. Pedro was right behind her. Anakin looked up and smiled. Lily said: "Hey, the kiddo is dead to the world. I'm just as protective as Ahsoka was of me. When Rose is mega tired, she uses my shoulder as a pillow and sucks her thumb in her sleep. Honestly, I think it's kinda cute. She does it more with me than she does with Pedro. So, what brings you here? I'm guessing you didn't come just to pay a visit to your Grandpadawan. So, either there's trouble, or you're really desperate for advice." Anakin said: "How the kriffing hell did you know that?" Lily said firmly: "Do not swear when Rose is in the room. I do not want her to pick up swear words at a young age." Anakin said: "Right. Sorry. Anyways, how did you know?" Lily said: "The only time you visit is when there's trouble or you're really desperate for advice. Easy enough to figure out. I'm Mother, Sister, and Master all in one." Anakin smiled and said: "Well, you do a good job of it. Anyways, as to why I'm here, that's more complicated." Lily and Pedro looked at each other. Pedro said: "Want me to take her?" Lily said: "No. Go collect your Padawan and do some training." Pedro said: "Okay." Then Pedro left. Then Lily walked over and sat down beside Anakin on the couch. She said: "Talk to me. Start from the beginning. I've seen and heard crazier things. So don't worry about me thinking you're crazy." Then Anakin told her everything. When he was done, Lily said: "Wow. So, these dreams started after you visited the Chancellor a few months ago? Wow. I think it's time to speak to him. Stay here. I'll go. I've faced just about every Sith Lord there is. Take Rose for me." She handed Rose over to Anakin and stood. Thankfully, Rose was still asleep through it all. Lily grabbed her lightsaber and clipped it to her utility belt and walked out of the apartment and out of the Temple. She walked to the Senate building with a purpose in mind. She walked into the Senate building and walked up to the Chancellor's office. She reached the Chancellor's office and walked into the Chancellor's office. Chancellor Palpatine looked up. He stood and said: "I don't think I've met you before." Lily said coolly: "You haven't. I came here to warn you. If you do much as plant a single vision in Anakin Skywalker's head, I will come and personally impale you. I know who you really are. Be warned. I don't take too kindly to my friends being manipulated by a psychopath Sith Lord hell bent on ruling the damn galaxy. You've been warned." Then she left the Senate building and walked back to the Temple and walked into the Temple and walked to her apartment and walked in. Anakin looked up. He stood and said: "Well? How did it go?" Lily said: "Let's just say if he wants to stay in one piece, he'll leave you alone." Anakin handed Rose over to her. I did know that you could be so fierce. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you're kinda scary. But that's just the maternal instincts kicking in." Lily said: "I hope he heeds my warning. You know what he did? He tried to pull the innocent card on me. Fortunately I was immune to his lies. I saw right through his lies. I hope he is scared of me. Because I will come and personally impale him." Anakin said: "Lily, be careful and don't let anger get the best of you." Lily said: "Don't worry. I have a child to train and raise. I can't exactly do that if I'm locked up in prison for murder." Then Anakin left. Lily shut the door behind him. Lily stood there thinking. She sighed and decided to go for a walk. She kept Rose in her arms. She grabbed her commlink and clipped it to her utility belt and made sure her wrist comm was on her wrist before leaving the apartment. She decided it would be safer if they were dressed as civilians that way they could blend in. She didn't want to draw attention to herself or Rose. Once she had everything, she slipped out of the apartment and locked the door behind her and walked out of the Temple. Unbeknownst to her, Anakin decided to follow her. He kept his distance to a safe distance so that she didn't suspect that he was following her. Soon they entered the market place. For this, Anakin was glad, because he could follow her without her being suspicious. At one point, Lily and Rose were surrounded by thugs. Anakin could see from where he was standing that the situation could potentially get bad. Then Anakin came up behind and said coolly: "Unless you want to end up on the other end of my lightsaber, I suggest you leave this woman and her daughter alone." The thugs left. Then Lily turned around. She said: "Thanks. I thought I was deep fried there." Anakin chuckled and said: "I decided to follow you in case something like this happened. I'm glad I did. I knew that thugs might target you because you have a child with you." Lily said: "I thought we'd blend in if we were dressed as civilians. I guess that idea backfired on me." Anakin said: "Not necessarily. It was a good idea." Lily said: "Let's go back to the Temple. This time, why don't you just walk with me?" Anakin said: "Sure." And so Anakin and Lily walked back to the Temple. Anakin said: "Would you like to see one of my favorite places in the Temple?" Lily said: "Sure." And so Anakin led her through the Temple to the Room Of A Thousand Fountains. Lily looked around and said: "It's beautiful." Anakin looked at her and said: "Would you like me to take her for a while?" Lily said: "No. I can handle her."
