Am I to young?

I awoke to the sound of birds chirping, and as I got up, I felt my toes curl up into my fluffy rug, I walked into my bathroom, put my hair up in a low ponytail, brushed my teeth, and did my skincare. I searched through my wardrobe, finding what to wear for the day, when I spotted my beige baggy cargo pants. I matched it with a navy crop top with a star on it, and blue and white jordans.

 I walked into the kitchen to grab some lunch for later, but I ran into my mother. ''Good morning sweetie, would you like any breakfast?'' ''No thanks Mom.. I don't really want anything.'' ''Okay darling, If you want anything later I'll be here.'' My mom is very nice, but I wasn't hungry, and I wasn't going to be hungry any time now. I packed my bag and touched up my makeup, and got on the bus to school.

 There was always this one guy who I never really noticed, which was fine because he never really noticed me, In my opinion he looked like a try hard white boy. I knew that he went to my school because I had seen him around, I also knew that he was friends with the popular kids. I was always on the bus by myself since none of my friends take the bus, so I just watched tiktok most of the time, which is what I did. The bus finally came to a stop and I hopped off with my converse bag.

As soon as I got off, I was greeted by  a familiar face, It was my friend Kate. Kate was wearing Blue denim flared jeans, with a white crop top and hair claw. Kate is probably one of the prettiest friends in our friend group, she has brown hair and blue eyes, and she was an average height. she also has had quite a lot of boyfriends in the past. She has lots of friends but she always calls us her mains. 

''Hi Natalie!!'' ''Hi Kate!!'' we were both excited to see each other as usual. ''Valerie, Eden, and Maia are all inside.'' Of course they were. I was always the latest one. ''Oh, okay then, lets go'' we walked to our classroom and when we got in Valerie came up to me and asked me a question. ''Hi Natalie, do you think that just us could hang out at lunchtime I want to hang out with you.'' Usually when Valerie just wants to hang out with me, it's to tell me a secret. so I said yes.

Lunchtime came around and as soon as the bell rang Valerie told the others, ''Sorry guys but me and Natalie are just gonna hang out with each other today.'' So me and Valerie started walking around the school, when Valerie said, ''You know how I recently broke up with Calvin?'' Valerie had recently been dumped  by a dick called Calvin, he ghosted her for weeks and then called it quits. ''Yes...why??'' ''Well.. I just think I need something to forget about it, like a new crush or boyfriend.'' Valerie likes to move on fast, but it isn't that easy. ''Oh what are you trying to say?'' ''Well I was thinking we could go around the school and find a cute guy that I might have a chance with!'' Valerie was pretty, but I would never imagine her with a actually cute guy.

We went over to where all the popular cute guys were, which is where the benches were. ''I can't see anyone cute!'' I did, there were SOME cute guys, but her and I have complete different types, so I didn't say anything. I was about to point out one guy but then she said, ''Ooo! Look at that guy over there!'' she pointed at a tall, brunette, nice looking guy. That's when I recognized him from the bus.

He wasn't ugly, in fact, he wasn't bad looking. But he wasn't really my type, so I said ''Ew, yuck he's wack.'' Valerie rolled her eyes and stared at him for a couple seconds, before she told us to continue walking, we spent the rest of the time walking and making tiktoks. The bell rung and me and  Valerie went back class, which is where we met Maia, Kate and Eden. We sat down and Valerie told the rest of the friend group.

 ''GUYS ME AND NATALIE WENT BOY HUNTING FOR ME AND WE FOUND A REALLY CUTE GUY!'' she practically screamed that.. but she was lucky no one heard. ''stop screaming'' Maia giggled. ''who is it??'' Eden asked. ''I don't know his name yet, but its a brunette, tall, paleish, tanish, guy, he's got really fluffy hair too.'' Valerie was right, he did have fluffy hair, which was the only feature I liked about him, ''Natalie do you have a crush yet?'' Kate asked. I've never really had crushes, mainly because I haven't met to many good looking guys at this school yet. I have had some cute boyfriends but that's a different story. ''No, There isn't any-'' ''cute boys I know..'' Kate interrupted. They always ask if I have a crush and that's always my answer.

The day went on, and I went back home once the end of school bell had rung. I threw my converse bag on the floor of my room and jumped onto my bed, which was very comfy so I couldn't move after that. I then thought to myself, what a day...
