Batgirl POV: Hey there. My name is Barbara Gordon, AKA Batgirl. And I'm a member of the best BFF team of superheroes around, with Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Zatanna, Green Lantern, and Bumble Bee. So many weird things have been happening all over Metropolis lately, like these glowing radioactive mosquitoes and mutant bad guys. Not your typical day. But then my friends and I met four new heroes and our new friends.
Raphael: Meet Raphael, the leader of his team. He's also the oldest, the biggest, and the strongest. Unfortunately, Raph's not exactly the wisest. His plans are pretty much, "Smash first, ask questions never." Speaking of smash, he wields these magic tonfās that grant him mystic powers called Power Smash-Jutsu, making him even stronger and tougher. But under that brute force, he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet, like a big teddy bear. Even Bumble Bee isn't afraid of him. In fact, those two work together really well. A little TOO well. My Bat Intuition tells me there's something more between those two.
Leonardo: This is Leonardo, the face man of the team. Leo can be overconfident in what he does, whether it's his skills, his charms, and of course, his witty remarks. Leo cracks jokes whenever he gets the chance, no matter his situation. He carries a mystic ōdachi sword that grants him the power to make portals to teleport himself anywhere he wants. Leo is all about being in the spotlight, which is a problem for Zatanna. However, Leo's interest in magic has put him and Zatanna on good terms.
Donatello: Meet Donatello, the brains of the team. He's the only one who doesn't have a magic weapon, which is fine because he's more into science than magic. Donnie likes inventing gadgets just as much as I do! So you can say he and I have a CONNECTION. Donnie has created a lot of neat stuff. The Turtle Tank, the Shell Hogs, the Taxi Rocket, his Battle Shells, his AI drone SHELLDON, and his old reliable Tech Bō. That one is my favorite. The Tech Bō can transform into any tool or weapon Donnie wants. He may appear emotionless, but I can tell he has feelings. Every time I compliment Donnie's tech, it puts a smile on his face. He may get a little dramatic, mad scientist-wise, but he's passionate about his work. Frankly, I find that adorable.
Michelangelo: Meet Michelangelo. He's the little brother and the heart of the team. Mikey is a talented artist; he does illustrations, music, and cooking. His cooking is to DIE for! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Mikey is a kid at heart, making him lighthearted and playful. He cares about family and friends just as much as Raph and sees the goodness in everybody. Something he and Jessica Cruz, AKA Green Lantern, have in common. Those two make good friends, although Mikey might see Jessica as more than just a friend if you catch my drift. But whatever you do, never get between Mikey and pizza.
Michelangelo POV: Hi, my name is Michelangelo. But my friends call me Mikey. I'm a hero in a half-shell from New York City, along with my brothers, Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello. Not so long ago, we got word about Oozesquito sightings at Metropolis. Oozesquitoes are these ooze-carrying mosquitoes created by our old enemy, Baron Draxum, whose plan was to turn every human into a mutant. But thanks to your favorite heroes, the Mad Dogs, Draxum's plans were foiled. But we missed some Oozesquitoes and are running a muck in Metropolis. So, my brothers and I wasted no time and headed straight to Metropolis. It was there we met six superheroes and our new friends.
Batgirl: Meet Barbara Gordon, but her friends call her Babs. She and her folks moved to Metropolis from Gotham City. Babs is a total fangirl when it comes to Batman. Batman is the reason why Babs decided to become a superhero. Heck, Babs even calls herself Batgirl. Babs is the one who brought the Superhero Girls together and became one unstoppable crime-fighting team. She's practically the heart of the group, being very positive and energetic. Now, Babs doesn't have any superpowers. But who needs powers when you have brains like hers? Like a detective, Babs is good at piecing things together. She loves making gadgets, something she and Donatello have in common. Come to think of it? These two are kind of alike, like two peas in a pod. No wonder they get along so well. I guess you can say they really CONNECT.
Wonder Woman: Say hello to Diana Prince. She's your perfect student at Metropolis High. Diana has the best grades, she's great at sports, and everyone in school adores her. I heard of honor roll students, but this girl is on a ROLL. Diana may look like a girl who grew up in Metropolis, but underneath that civilian getup, she's actually a princess of the Amazons. Better known as Wonder Woman. The fearless leader of the Superhero Girls. She comes from a place called, Themyscira to save the world of man. Wonder Woman is a full-on hero. She is very righteous and courageous; she's like Raphael, except prettier and has less fear stink. Maybe when Diana has time, she could give Raph some pointers. Wonder Woman may be a great hero, but she's clueless about being a teenager, like using smartphones, slang, and dealing with boys.
Zatanna: Put your hands together for Zee Zatara A.K.A. Zatanna! Zee is all about fashion and magic. She inherits magic from her father, the famous magician Giovanni Zatara. Zee used to be her dad's assistant, but now she's doing her shows as a magician. Mostly at birthday parties. Hey, you gotta start somewhere. As a performer, she cares about looking her best. Whenever she casts a spell, she speaks backward, which is mind-blowing! How does she even do that?! As impressive as Zee is, she still hasn't got the magic thing down and tends to go wrong. Everyone is careful around Zee. All except Leonardo. He's a bit of a magic fanatic, so he could care less whether Zee's magical spells go right or out of control. Zee and Leo get along very well. Well, when he's not getting on her nerves, at least.
Green Lantern: ~Jessica Cruz~ My green angel, my jade princess, my emerald superstar. Okay is no secret that I'm bonkers for her. The only one who doesn't know about it is Jessica. But can you blame me?! Jessica is wonderful! She's a girl who cares about the earth and those living on it. Even things like my brothers and me, which is rare because hardly anyone ever saw us as misunderstood, except for April. Jessica is righteous, an activist, a pacifist, and nurturing. Because of those qualities, a space organization called the Green Lantern Corps made her into a Green Lantern. Now the Green Lanterns are pretty much like cops but in space, protecting different parts of the universe. They wield power rings that they can make anything they can imagine out of green light. The only catch is the power ring runs by willpower, which is no problem for my girl, Jessica. Did I mention that she's wonderful?
Bumble Bee: Karen Beecher, A.K.A. Bumble Bee, the tiniest hero with a big brain. Barbara may be smart, but Karen is brilliant. She made this suit that made her shrink to the size of a bee. Although, her original plan was to get bigger. Luckily, Karen learns to make the best out of being small. Like being able to get through tight spaces. She has a bit of a confidence issue, with her being the quietest, the shyest, and really insecure. But when in doubt, Karen steps up even if she is scared. For someone who gets scared easily, she has no problem being around someone like Raphael. Actually, Karen has been hanging out with him a lot lately. Is there something I'm not seeing?
Supergirl: Meet Kara Danvers, A.K.A Supergirl. She's the cousin of Superman! She has super strength, flight, invulnerability, heat vision, and super breath like Superman. Did you know she used to babysit Superman, which is weird because he's older than her? Kara is the rebel in the group. She's cool, tough, and loves to rock. Kara is also the first to deliver the punch and the punchline. But when it comes to receiving the punchline say from Leo, she doesn't take it well. Let's just say Kara has a bit of a temper. Regardless, Leo seems to enjoy messing with her. But don't let the rough exterior fool you. She may be known as the girl of steel, but underneath she has a heart of gold.
