3; Good Riddance

"We don't have time for this!" Derek yelled.

"Good riddance, what do you need to do?" I asked.

"I need to find them!" He yelled frustrated.

Rebekah and Nik left by now and I felt like I was going to explode.

"Don't get upset with me, I'm just trying to pry information out of you." I spoke calmly. Though I was 5 seconds away from ripping his heart out.

"Look, I need to find my beta and sister. There out there and they could be tearing someone apart right now so I need to go."

"I will come."

"What no-"

"I'm coming, trust me, if you want an ally, I'm your best one."

Veins grew under my eyes and the whites of my eyes turned red as I sped through the preserve looking for Derek's beta, Boyd. I stopped in my tracks when I heard two voices. It wasn't Scott or Derek. I was children.

I looked around for a voice and it led me to a shed. They sounded scared, anxious, and worried. I guess they met Boyd. A very out of control Boyd. Shit.

I ripped the lock off and ran inside. They screamed but I didn't care. They need to be safe. I have a thing for hurting kids. I grabbed them and sped off to the nearest house.

"Hey, guys. Is this your house?" I asked them. They nodded frantically. The little boy asked," Are you going to kill us."

I felt my heart shatter at the sound of desperation in his voice. "No I won't but you need to be safe because there is a bad man out there right now."

"Why does he want to hurt us?" The young boy asked.

"He doesn't know what he's doing right now okay? But I need you to do me a favor and shot me all the openings to your house."

They showed me the doors and I sealed it all off with some mountain ash.

"Now I need you two to do something for me."

"Go inside of your house and don't leave until tomorrow morning. Never take off the dust I put by your doors. Whenever there is a full moon don't come outside. You guys went looking for fireflies, you caught some and you let them free. you kept doing it until you got tired. You met me, Kemily, and I played with you guys. You won't remember anything else. Now go inside. Goodbye." I compelled them.

I sped off afterwards.

"Where are they?" I asked.

"We lost them." Derek said.

"What?" I yelled.

"And what were you doing?" He snarled.

"Saving two kids that Boyd was after." I snapped.

"I'm surprised you didn't just let them die." He yelled.

"Say what you want about me, but I would never let a child get harmed on my watch. Not again." I felt unseen tears prickle in my eyes as I thought about my late younger brother Henrik. Derek backed away after that seeing that he went too far. Damn right bitch.

"We are never going to catch them like this." Scott said.

"What are we even planning on doing? Hold them down until sunrise?" Derek's beta Isaac said.

"We need help." Scott spoke.

"We have Isaac now." Derek said. Ha. Like he was a real help.

"I mean real help." He said.

"I'm real help, not sure about him though." I said smirking at Isaac.

"Who are you again?" He asked smartly.

"Someone that can literally eat you up, now enough introductions, if you can get them secured in a room with just me, Cora, and Boyd, I can temporarily paralyze them."

"Okay, so now what?"

"We get more real help. Someone

that can lead them there. Like a, like a-"

"Like a hunter."
