The day after

POV Andy
We all slept together at the station. Hoping we would get an update on how Maya was doing but sadly the situation didn't change over the night. I was about to go to the hospital. Carina won't leave Maya her side, but she needs to shower and eat some good food so I am gonna go 'babysit' Maya instead. The station was alive again but it was weird without Maya being around. She's almost 24/7 at the station and this must be the longest she was gone. Oh no that's not true, the time when Carina and her went on vacation was the longest time. "Can I come with you?" Vic asks. "Sure, did u ask Beckett?" I ask. "Who cares about Beckett? Cmon I haven't seen Maya since like the shower thing" she says. "Okay, but you do realize she is not awake?" I look at her. "Yes I do" she answers. "Okay let's go" I say and walk outside followed by Vic. We get in the car and drive to the hospital. We arrive and go in, "Maya Bishop her room please" I ask. "Wait you haven't visited her yet?" Vic asks. "No, the last time I saw her was when she was dying in her wife's arms, and last night was to late" I say while following the doctor to her room. "Here it is" the doctor points to the door. I look through the window. Carina staring at Maya and holding her hand. She was so tired, I am sure she didn't sleep a minute. I knock on the door and we go in quietly. "Hi, how is it going here?" I whisper. Carina turns around "hi, it's been a long night" she whispers back. "We are here so you can go rest, eat and shower at home" I say. "That's so sweet, but I don't wanna leave her side" she says. "That's why we are here, she won't be alone, we'll call you about any update, cmon" I say while taking a chair to sit. Carina nods and gives her wife a kiss on the forehead. "I'll be back Bella" she says and leaves the room.

POV Vic
I stared at Maya laying in this scary hospital bed. "I feel so guilty" I say. "What do you mean? This isn't your fault" Andy says. "I know, but I said horrible things about her" I sigh. "She was always there for me and I.. I am a bad friend" I continue. "No your not a bad friend Vic. Nobody knew what she was going through. She didn't talk to anyone" Andy says and I heard also a kind of guilt in her voice. I look at Maya when I hear a soft moan coming out of her mouth. "Maya?" we ask. A heavy breath leaves her mouth and her eyes open slowly. "Omg" I say while Andy is pressing the button for a doctor. It was like she had been trying to wake up for years and it finally worked, she was relieved and her eyes were searching. Searching for someone. Searching for Carina.

POV Andy
"Hey" I stroke her hair out of her face. She tries to say things but I couldn't understand what. "Shhhh" I say while calling Carina. Just a second later she picks up. "Carina she woke up" I quickly say. "Omg I'm coming" she says and hung up. "C-Carina?" that's what I understood of Maya saying. "Sshh Carina is coming" I say while stroking her forehead. But she still tried to say something. "What is it?" I ask holding her hand. "I didn't... do... this" she says. "No it's okay we understand" Vic says. But Maya keeps being in panic and trying to say as much as she could. I look confused and worried at her. "Shh we'll talk later, first rest a bit" I say and she looked right into my eyes. I felt that. I felt like I knew what she was trying to say. Something was wrong.
