Emily's POVOkay so I'm literally walking on the side of the street and of course everyone is eyeing me big time. Chelsie is just there silently following me and I got a certain feeling that she was going to just on my back and stab me. Weird huh?
So I make my way to a place where I can really gather my thoughts and think about this tough situation. The questions just kept on following through my mind and there was a battle between my conscience and I.
Forgive her!
No!
Do it! You are so lonely without her!
No I have Shezrae' !
No you don't care about Shezrae' the same way you do for Chelsie! Now do it!
Okay, okay calm yourself!I sat down on a park bench and just thought for a while. I took the sandwich from my backpack and started feeling it to the little blue birds around. I had a strong liking towards birds. So after about fifteen minutes of feeding the cute creatures of nature, I heard a creak of wood coming from the bench I was sitting on.
Chelsie ...
" Right, here comes the princess!" I told her.
"Listen, why can't we just make up and be friends together?" asked Chelsie.
"Let me think about that...NO!"
"Da eff! Why? What did I ever do that was so awful and that had such a big impact on you?!"
"Listen here princess, I don't have to tell you anything and plus you know already," I replied.
"Okay Emily, I know what I did and I'm really sorry. You know all that we've been though and our friendship can't end like this! We're suppose to be best friends and marry twin brothers, and not be mad if you accidentally kiss my husband because they look exactly the same!" she said jokingly, referring to the promise we made in standard 2.
"You know what I'm just not ready to forgive you that easily. Just to think that we've been friends for 7 years of our life and you leave me for someone you just met! Let me sleep on it... I'll tell you my decision in the morning." I said to her.
I then bedraggled my backpack behind me and begin my lengthy walk home. My fatigue was literally telling my brain to shit down and give up but I kept on walking.
After about ten minutes of walking in the fiery sunlight I seemed to be blinded and burned by it. I eventually reached home and my mother was extremely shocked to see me home at lunch when I'm suppose to be home at two o'clock.
"No one showed up. Don't ask questions. Up. In. My. Room. Bye." I said to her very sluggishly and rudely.
I sat in my bed and enjoyed the cool and refreshing AC blowing against my heated skin. After a couple a seconds my mind filled once more with questions concerning Chelsie and my life was again filled with so much problems and lots to deal with. I never thought that at the age of 10 life could be so hard. And adulthood is harder! How could I handle myself in a couple of years!?!?
