When I woke up, Kaiden was still with me. He had fallen asleep, too.

His dirty blonde hair was in his face and his chocolate, brown eyes were closed. I felt the urge to sweep his hair out of his beautiful face and kiss him.

I tried to sit up but Kaiden pulled me back down, his full lips in a smirk. He cracked his eyes open and stared at me. I felt blush creeping in. "Hi." I squeaked. And yes, I squeaked.

"Hey. You okay?" He asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"I... really don't know anymore. I can't think straight." I felt the heat coming up to my cheeks, and with my pale skin, it showed. "All of my thoughts are on what could happen to my sister." And on you, I was about to say. I sat up. Kaiden asked me if I wanted to just stay in here.

"I would cover you," he said as I started to protest. He raised his eyebrows, when I shook my head.

"I need to see my mom. I doubt that she knows what happened to Shade." He nodded in understanding.

"That's probably a good idea." He said, pouting his lip. I smirked at him.

"What?" I said, feigning innocence.

"I... Um..." He stuttered over his words. "Well... Let's just say, I was thinking about someone."

I was thinking of someone, too, I thought. I shook my head.

I got up off of the bed and noticed that I was still in that long-sleeved shirt.

"Um... Ash... Where are your pants?" Kaiden said, trying to avoid laughing.

"I never wore any to bed. Why were you wearing your leathers?" I countered. He looked at his body and frowned.

"I was training when Ryland came saying you looked completely freaked out. I never bothered taking my leathers off when he told me. I was worried about you..." He trailed off when he saw my face.

"You were worried about me?" I said, dazed by the thought of him worrying about me.

"Um...well... Yeah?" He sat up and smiled sheepishly.

I chuckled while shaking my head.  I turned and walked towards the closet. When I walked in, I went straight to the dresses. I grabbed the scarlet one with the black lace and slipped it on. It went to my knees and had no sleeves. I slipped on a pair of black boots and walked out. Kaiden had lain back down and had his eyes closed. I rolled my eyes and climbed over his body to poke his face.

"What?" He mumbled. He opened his eyes, briefly, and smiled lazily.

"Wake up." I said, causing him to roll his eyes. He slung his arms out, wrapped them around me and pulled me down. I giggled and tried to pull myself up. Kaiden wouldn't let me. I frowned against his chest and looked up at him. He had closed his eyes again.

His lips were parted and his breathing was slow. I shifted slightly to look at his facial features. He had a strongly defined jaw-line and full lips. His eyelashes brushed his highly defined cheek bones and his blonde hair fell onto my pillow.

I glanced back at his lips and sighed silently.

I want to kiss him, I thought. But he's a prince. I can't do it.

My thoughts said one thing, but my body and heart said another.

My lips hovered over his. His eyes fluttered open and they looked at my steel eyes. We glanced at each other's lips before looking back at our eyes. He smirked before reaching up and cupping my cheek.

"You're so beautiful." He mumbled. He moved his hand to my neck and brushed my lips with his.

"Of course, I am." I whispered before fully kissing him on the lips. He sat up, taking me with him. When he pulled back, my lips were on fire. Kaiden traced my lips. I rested my forehead against his and sighed.

"What is it?" He asked. I climbed off of him and stood up.

"Come on," was the only thing I said.

I knew that he would follow.
