(Hello! Just a small announcement before the chapter begins, from now on, due to the amount of work I've had to do lately and how busy I've been, I will be writing the chapters and then making the art covers for them later on. Thank you for reading this announcement!)

Fan's POV:
Thump
Thump
Thump
I couldn't tell whether the sound of thumping was coming from my heart or from whatever was gradually approaching our location.
I quickly grabbed the Cherries' wrists along with Balloon's and pushed them behind a nearby bush, soon following after.
We all stayed quiet and Balloon seemed to be holding his breath.
Eventually whatever was making the loud noise came into view.
A few trees rustles as it entered the area.
All of us just stared.
The creature was almost spider-like, but the legs were spiked, almost like that of a stingray barb.
It had only six legs and no eyes were visible from the angle we were at. If it did have eyes though, hopefully it was mostly blind.
Though as Test Tube would say, that might be more dangerous as it could probably feel the vibrations from our movement.
On it's back was a row of strange spikes. I was unsure what they were for, but it definitely added to the look.
It was a solid black color. No other colors, just black, which made it a bit difficult to see under the dark shade of the canopy above.
Probably the most horrifying thing of all though, was the fact that on it's underside was a row of razor sharp fangs, all lined up in two rows with two longer fangs at the front.
That must be it's mouth...
This creature was at least 10 times bigger than we were.
The Cherries cowered behind Balloon, one of them had their eyes shut and looked as if they we're about to cry.
After what seemed like hours of hiding in pure terror, the gigantic creature finally moved on, leaving the area.
"There's something very wrong with this place..." I muttered, heaving out a deep sigh.
The others nodded in agreement.
"Shouldn't we go warn the others?" Balloon asked, shivering a bit.
The shiver was more of a shudder, so I figured it was a mix of the cool ocean air and the thought of the giant fanged creature we had just encountered.
Hopefully we wouldn't encounter it again.
"Not yet. Lightbulb isn't in a good place right now, she doesn't need the extra stress. We should just keep this to ourselves for now..." I responded.
Balloon nodded, then looked back at the Cherries.
They still seemed shaken, but they were calmer.
"Let's head back before that thing realizes we're here." Balloon suggested before taking the Cherries hand gently.
We headed back.
The sun was already beginning to go down and the air was cool and misty. Surprisingly calm for what had just happened.
