Casey and Rosa walked out of the portal into a small circular space, surrounded by forestry and greens, the silvery moon casting an unearthly glow on the area. The pair stood in awe before a shadow covered the moon, casting the area in near darkness, a chill sweeping through the small area, and down the girls' spines. Instinctively, they grabbed hands, moving close to each other, wide eyes scanning the area as they slowly turned. A loud growl sounded from where the now closed portal once was, causing the two to face the source of the sound, fear striking them as they looked at the large wolfish Neisha facing them in a threatening stance, teeth bared.

Slowly it began to move towards them as time seemed to slow, Rosa glanced at Casey and the blonde looked back. "Run." They said in unison, breaking into a fast paced chase into the heart of the greenery, a wave of obsidian shadows following the Neisha as it bounded after them, turning the world dark behind them. Casey's breath hitched in her throat as she tripped on a root of a tree. Rosa stopped immediately, practically yanking Casey up as the female scrambled to keep running, their hearts beating painfully in their chests as they fought for breath and for their lives. However, that one second would cost them dearly as the Neisha bounced on Casey, causing the blonde to scream. "Casey!" Rosa stopped, yelling her friend's name in terror. Casey's own fear was evident, the girl nearly frozen in fear as she tried to fight the shadowed being to no avail.

The shadows began taking over Casey, the girl's body slowly disappearing under the veil. "Go! Run!" Casey yelled desperately, using what strength she had left to save her friend. Rosa shook her head, tears threatening to spill. "No! I won't leave you to that thing!" She yelled back, fervently searching for something, anything, she could use to save Casey. "Rosa, stop being stubborn and run!" Casey pleaded, her voice breaking and cracking as the shadows swallowed her, Rosa's eyes widening as she stumbled back and ran, beginning to hyperventilate as she pushed her thoughts to the back of her mind, focusing on running, on surviving. She glanced back, noticing the Neisha and the shadows had gone before she allowed herself to slow and collapse onto her knees, coughing and heaving breaths, curling as she grabbed the font of her shirt as if that would calm her aching chest and rapidly beating heart, her throat raw with pain.

Curled up against the hollow of a tree, Rosa slowly calmed down, closing her eyes for a moment. She didn't realize how long she'd been there when a voice interrupted her thoughts. "It's too dangerous to be here." Rosa opened her eyes, jaw dropping as her eyes looked up at a slim warrioress, purple halter dress adorned with stunning jewelry, her blonde hair flowing from her circlet adorned head in soft waves, leading to her piercing blue eyes, scanning the redhead gaping at the elven warrior. When she tilted her head, Rosa snapped out of admiring this being and shakily stood up. "I-...needed to rest." She mumbled, remembering prior events.

The other female regarded Rosa more before nodding, her silver and purple metallic bow held in her right hand folding into itself and disappearing in a purple shimmer. "I saw the shadows take over part of the forest then disappear." She had looked towards where Rosa had come from, then back at the human female. "What happened?" She questioned, a concerned look on her face. Rosa let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. "I came through a portal from Earth-" She paused. "Sorry, Vonyaheil, to find our friend who had been pulled here and this...creature, it looked like a wolf, chased us, we ran but..." Rosa trailed off, staring at the ground. The warrioress was quiet for a moment, her gaze and tone softening. "I'm...sorry." She quietly commented. She placed a hand on Rosa's shoulder, gently, giving a reassuring squeeze. "I'll tell you what I know. As for both of your friends, I cannot be sure, but, we do need to move to a safer location. Can you do that?" She looked at Rosa with concern, touched with a fair bit of sorrow.

Rosa looked up at her and nodded. "Good." The woman commented then breathed out. "I'm Cassiopeia." She finished. Rosa began to walk alongside the warrior. "Rosa Dale." The redhead replied back. Not even five minutes in, Rosa and Casey had been attacked, leaving one missing or possibly dead, the other in shock and grief. Never in their lives would they have thought they would be in this position. They were the inseparable trio, forever together no matter what life threw at them, ready for all odds but it seemed the universe had a different plan and for once, Rosa was truly scared.
