ROSAE POV
Thursday

We threw out hats up and that was the end.

arrived at home.

"MOM LOOK AT THIS!" I shouted with excitement as I wave my diploma in my moms face.

"I Can do whatever i want now, you cant tell me nothing !"

"Oh hush, this is still my house, Rosy." Mom laughed.

"Sit down, baby." Mom said.

"Here's the rules, since you are 18 and you graduated. You can take the car and go see friends, don't be having allem folks in my car though!"

I just nodded.

"As for boys , if you ever find the right one, they can come into the house and meet us. Josue can come over when you want him to, I know we sort of separated you two after finding out his age but we had our reasons . "

Yes, mom did make Josue from not seeing anymore. Someone told them his real age and they broke us up. We were so close . I was a freshman when he was a junior, and we just clicked while we were waiting to go home that day, been talking every since. I honestly couldn't wait to see him again, I still have his number and everything! I miss my best friend.

"Thank you mom, for trusting me. Now with that said, I'm going to go freshen up and go meet Josue!" I said and ran up the steps.

"babe, what are you doing? you know I've missed you !" Josue's girlfriend said and sat on his lap.

"I'm busy, maria ." Josue said as he was weighing his green he got today.

"I need plays today, so I'm going to hit the party tonight. And....I have to go meet an old friend in a few."

"Who, bebe?" Maria sat up in concern.

"Her name is Rosae, we've been friends since I was in my junior year, she was like a freshman. some rat told her parents my age, and they immediately separated us. We haven't talk in years. She wants me to meet with her today though, and I'm so excited." Josue smiled and chuckled. He missed his best friend too.

"You sound really invested...you like her a bit too much." Maris started getting mad at him and stood up.

"Maria, it's not even like that. We are best friends, nothing more, nothing less. "

"I dont care, why do you wanna see her alone?? I bet she's not even that pretty and probably fat! Fuck you, Josue. I hope you catch an std from that bitch. " Maria stormed out the room and went downstairs.

Josue sighed and shook his head, he finished weighing his green and got ready to see his friend.

Rosae

Rosae had just got out the shower, she wanted to be elegant and classy. She wanted to get the best impression. She found this black mini dress, strapless. She grabbed a pair of fluffy slides to fit with it. Smiling at the mirror at herself.

She went into her bathroom to do her makeup and curl her hair.

The last finishing touch, was some perfume by Chanel, her father bought her .

She looked at the time , it was 8:55pm.

"He's gonna be here any minute now!" Rosae rushed to get her purse and collect her things. She rushed downstairs and waited on the couch.

"Omg he's almost here mom, I'm scared. What if he got cuter? What if he has a girlfriend? What if he has -"

"Baby! Calm down. The boy could possibly be like he was when you two was in high school." Rosae's mom came over and sat down with her daughter.

"So what time is that party, you going to tonight?"

"9:30pm, Josue and I is just gonna go to a place a eat and catch up you know?" I smiled .

Mom nodded.

Josue:

Im 1 minute from Rosae's house and im so excited. I wonder how she looks now, or how she'll act. i just need a break from Maria. I just want to see my friend and go party.

Rosae POV

I was in the bathroom downstairs, doing finishing touches to my makeup. I hear a knock at the door. My heart starts beating faster, my stomach turns. I feel excited and nervous.

"Mom, I'll get it!" I shout from the bathroom to mom.

I run to the door to open it, I see this handsome man, Josue.

"Omg hey! " I hug him tightly, I saw the biggest smile on his face.

I signal for him to come in.

"How've you been, chiquia?" Josue asked as he backed away and smiled at me.

"I'm better now, I've missed you so so much, like you don't even know!" I start to cry. It was hard without him, he has helped me a lot. He's very important to me.

"Awe don't cry." As he walks me to the couch and we both sit down with my head on his shoulder.

"I've missed you-"

"Hello! Long time no see." My mom comes in and greets Josue.

He stands up and walks to mom to give her a hug.

"It's so nice to see you, Mrs. Chaney. You never aged. So beautiful." He says as he still hugs her.

"Awe stop! You're here for her not me! " mom laughed.

I'm still here on the couch waiting for them to get finished.

"You wanna go ahead and go, Rosae? " He said to me, heading towards the door.

I nodded.

"Please be careful you two!! If you need a DD, call me. I love you, Rosy!"
