Lunar's POV: As I woke up to my brother, Eclipse telling me to wake up. "Nooooo... I don't wanna go! I'm tired." I whined. "Do you want to get bad grades?" he warned. "Fineee. Only because I'm just starting my freshman year." I said dully, crossing my arms as I got up. I dashed to the closet so I could just get this dealt with. I hate school. It's sooo boring! I thought as I chose a blue sweater and some boot cut jeans to wear. After I put them on, I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag. "Finally ready?" He asked. "No. I'm just saying let's go to just stay home!" I scoffed, rolling my eyes. We then went outside and started walking to the bus stop. As we did so, I gazed at the trees. I slowly let my mind ponder over the thought of a new school, especially high school. I started clenching my fists, baring my nails into my skin. Sending a penetrating pain through my hand. Great. I thought as I sighed. We had to walk for another minute or so before we eventually got to the bus stop. We saw two other kids there, both boys, the short one wearing yellow and red overalls, the other wearing a navy blue hoodie with a crescent moon on it. I perked up as I saw them, as I always say, strangers are just friends we have not met yet! "Hello!" I said to them as I sped over to them, as Eclipse followed slowly. "Hello! I'm Sun! Who are you?" the short one inquired. "I'm Lunar! Want to be friends?" I responded warmly. The tall one just glared at me, so I shrank back, feeling frightened. "You good Lunar?" Eclipse asked, Moon seemed to sense it bothered me so he looked back at Sun. "Yeah, yeah, I'm good." I told him, relieved. I heard a roaring sound from the end of the street. When I saw that the bus was coming, I lined up to where the bus usually stops. The bus turned over to where I was, drove forward, and stopped. As we all got onto the bus, I immediately looked around for a seat. As I did so, I saw the most handsome person I would ever see in my life, he seemed to notice me staring so he said "Wanna come sit over here? You're blocking up the lane." "O-Oh sorry!" I said as I rushed over to sit next to him. "I'm Monty, you?" he grinned. "I- uh- you- me- I'm Lunar." I stuttered blushing. I pointed my gaze over to Eclipse, giving him a look saying 'what do i do?' he responded with a glance that said 'ask him out, i know you like him!' I immediately went red. "Ay, little guy, you good?" he asked worriedly. "I'm okay!" i answered accidentally brushing my hand against his. I immediately pulled my hand onto my lap. Monty then grabbed and held my hand, I looked at him, and he looked at me, grinning brightly. I looked away, letting him hold my hand. God, he looked so hot with his red braids. He scooted closer, I then looked at him, our faces were so close, it was like he could kiss me. I looked away with my shy ass self. He then pecked my cheek.
