I hate her. I hate her guts. "All Jessica has been talking about lately is her mother..." I tell Chris, my right hand man.
He gives me a concerned look, an apologetic one. "It'll be alright, man." I thank him, and the bell rings.
"Gotta go, bud. See ya 'round." He nods, then walks away to his class as I walk to mine. I run into her. She looks at me and smiles.
"Hey, Arthur. How are-" I interrupt her. "Fine. Now shove off." She gives me a sour look, then walks off. I shrug, and keep my head up.

"Hey, Jessica. I'm sorry about how I treated you earlier." She doesn't acknowledge me, she just rolls her eyes.
I don't know what to say to her. I feel kind of ashamed about how I treated her.... Notice, I said kind of.

"Hey, Arthur. I wanna take you up on your apology." She says. I can't believe she actually bought that. "Could I go over to your house to study for finals next Friday?" She asks me.
I don't know what to say. "Um... sure. Well, I might be busy, but I'll try." She smiles, nods her head, and walks away. Ooh, what a mess I have gotten myself into.
